I play Guild Wars, the only type of 1v1 I've seen in the game is through PvE where you fight your doppleganger, but thats about it, however they do frequent updates and such to keep the game semi-smooth.

need more skill to pvp than Lineage..in Linage all we do is pressing F1-F2-F3, but in guild wars we press 1-2-3 :dwm_happy

nah just kidding... in Guild wars we can evade the arrow by moving left-right (press Q and E), also the HP regen very fast so we need to time the spike EXACT right, therefore vent/ts in gw is very common. The healer class (monk) can be very offensive if needed, unlike proh/ee/bishop/SE class in Lineage (we are gimp :(

Ive played GW but i got bored. max lvl in like 1week of play.
and for hardcore players it can be done in 2-3days i guess.

But it was cool for a few months though, lots of action.

I alpha tested this since April 2004. The game is primarily about group play, and is probably one of the best balanced games available. The PvP is really where it excels in that regard. There's a lot of strategy that goes into an individual character and even more so into group builds that play off each other. However, it is instanced, and there are benefits and drawbacks to both. You don't have the suspense of "might" being killed as you enter into the PvP matches knowingly. But, there's no real associated penalty behind dying outside of that particular instance, so it's kind of nice. Most importantly it has no monthly fees.

i like the beta HoH more also. actualy i liked the whole beta more then real game. Also, a person who just started a few min ago with a pvp already lvl 20 toon can kill a very experienced player with better skills just by tapping skills randomly. The pvp and pve is all about luck.
