So u could say , crafting will go up for the chance of getting double or rare items.
But as npc-shops also sell stuff, crafting may as well go down too, because if mat prices stay as expensive as they are now on every server, its cheaper to just buy stuff at NPC

faster lvling = more dorfs = more spoils/mats/crafts

With the chance for rare stuff I'd say crafting will go up actually.
Once they fix the set bonuses with rare armors you're looking at crazy total bonus on attackspeed/castspeed/whatever you get from the sets so...

There has been the pattern between every major update where for the first week or two, everything is jacked up in price then eventually comes down again. If that's what you mean anyway.

your logic is fail...
faster leveling would mean that bhs spend less time killing mobs at certain levels where they farm good mats. and the bots arent really gonna be affected by the vitality system, its meant to combat their style of leveling and since they provide most of the generally crafted materials.
i think there will be lots of crafting going on tbh. with the rates of foundation items from pts crafting they are mildy rare i think and the item bonuses arent bad. ncsoft needs to decide about their set bonuses since they currently dont have set bonus on pts. really i think augmenting jewels is gonna be the new fotm.... effing life stone prices...

It's not by augment, it's by Rare/Chaotic Craft you get the stun resist (and other effects as well) on the jewels.
They are easiest and cheapest to make (and can still have rare properties) and can still be OE'd to pretty decent mdef without it going too costly.
If you compared to the S80 jewels that have stun resist, the mdef on it is laughable, a B grade jewel has more mdef than that.
27 Mdef, MP +35 and Stun Resistance +12 on the S80 Dynasty Earrings Stun Resistance (that someone was selling for 455mill in sellshop in aden a while back).

Haven't been able to test myself, but from what others say, the chance for a rare/chaotic craft is about 1/30 or so.
But I guess we will see that eventually when it goes live ^^

I made 100 identical crafts to check it (70%, in this case - no point wasting money).
After 78 of them, I had 4 "rare" items. That didn't change after 100 items.
My conclusion? At least for B-grade jewelery, the rate of rare items is around 5%. I doubt this changes much for other item types or grades.
