I am starting to think NCSoft consist only from idiots. Because all the new stuff in Gracia is either created specially to benefit the bots or is just pretty stupid.
1. They say because of the cheap weapon the people will leave WOW and join Lineage. Idiotic. No flow of new players will appear because of those weapons. And of course many players who already left because of the bots will net get back. What actually will have will be a flow of newly created alt toons so the old players may try something new for a short time.
But at the same time of the get drunk and ban by mistake some bot train it will take less then an hour to replace it and jsut few adena to get the gear for it.
2. Nerfing the archers. Why the fuck? The archers are PVP toons and they are strong not because they are archers but because most clans use auto-target script. Stopping such scripts from working is most easy task. But nah - they are going to nerf the archers. Why not stopping the illegal scripts?
3. Boosting the mages crit ratio. It sound reasonable. Now only the few heroes which spend several KKK to get WM on thier weapons will cry. I don't care.
4. Boosting the daggers! WTF? They were killing with 1 hit untill now. What will be accomplished when they are boosted? This actually will help them with PVE and will not make any real difference with the PVP. So it seems the idea is to increase the number of daggers. But they are PK toons. What will give the increase of PK to the game?
5. Increasing the CRP from academy and other sources. Leveling a clan up was an acomplishment. Now every botter will have his clan upped to lvl 6. The established lvl 6 and lvl 7 clans will become nothing.
6. Destroying the economy including for A grade - with duals and the easy recipes for top A weapons. Who will go to Dino island for top A recipes when he can put a bot in forsaken and get it from a quest untill he drinks his morning coffee? And who will be the main beneficient from this - bots of course. Because they produce cash and mats.
7. Destroying the A grade as group at all. Now getting to a grade was something. Now everyone can go to A grade in couple of days. So all those players who spend much time to lvl to A grade will feel cheated (me myself). And who will be among the main beneficient from this? Again bots of course. Because the botters will not care if some high lvl bot trains are banned or not - they will be back just in 2 days.
8. Destroying the only advantage which the dwarves had - the pole. No trains = no pole. But wait - the dwarves will become buffers now! WTF! Why lvl a dwarf to have a buffer? And who is the main beneficient from removing the trains? Bots of course.
9. Increasing the XP through the vitallity system. At first it seems good. But for who? Not for the human players for sure. Because to give something to do to the top lvl players they will have to increase the max lvl. There are RB which are lvl 87 and 90. Guess the max lvl will be upped to 90 quite soon. So the players will benefit from the increased XP and will get from A to S grade only to find out the S grade is already nothing. You will have to be 85+ to be something. And who will be main beneficient from the increase will the bots again. But the old players who spend much time to get to lvl 78+ will feel cheated again.
10. Hellbound. Untill now the bots have some difficulties gettign there. Starting from today there will be a special promotions for the bots - they will get there for nothing. Thats is. To get for the first time to Hellbound you will have only to talk to 2 NPCs. Will this matter to me or to any human player? Of course not. Because getting there just once is nothing for the human player. But it is everything the botters need - once there no force can remove them from hellbound. They will stay there till the game exists.
So guess what will happen...
1. Some new players will appear indeed. And thye wil leave after a month or 2 because of the bots.
2. Many old time players will be disappointed and will leave - either because of the bots or just because the new features made their char obsolete or simply because they feel cheated after the efforts they put in the game.
3. Many new bots will appear and the income from them will replace the left human players. So NCSoft will depend even more on the bots... which will return us to #1...
After 1 year only the bots wil lremain on the servers and few 90 lvl botters which will kill each other dying from boredom.
