J.J.J's son (The astronaught) brings it back from space. From what I heard it attaches itself to the ship and the ship has to make an emergency landing in New York or something and Eddie Brock is sent to report on it and somehow he gets taken by the symbiot.

If I remember right it attached itself first to parker when he saved the space shuttle from a complete and utter crash. Parker for-awhile loved the new power. But when he realized it was starting to take over his mind he managed to get himself free of it. Don't exactly remember how it came into brocks hands. He found it after MJ had rejected him or something like that. When she told him she was in love with spider-man. It told him it could give him the power to beat spider man. yada.. yada... yada... yada. Something along those lines.

Anyways.. WTF Toffer.. how the hell are they gonna pull this off.

brocks was busted by spider-man, and really hated him. He was in prison at the time when veneom found him. They both wanted revenge, venom for being regected, and brocks for being in jail.....or something like that.
