Has anyone had a bad trip on Diphenhydramine or Doxylamine succinate?

Both of over the counter anti histamines that cause hallucinations at high doses.

I've taken around 2000mg of each at the same time for (specific reasons). and it was a nightmare. a complete terror. Basically you believe your body is dying and there is no way to convince yourself otherwise. or you feel like you are being drowned... pretty cool.... but better than playing wow.


basically what i'm wondering is if this bad trip is anything like a bad trip with shrooms? anyone done both? Searching for this information is pretty much impossible.

Most trips are independent of what drug is taken. It's all about the mindset you have when the drugs take effect. If you're a psychologically unstable person then you're probably going to have a bad trip, and vice versa.
