I'm having problems with lineage 2 i just subscribed and when i finished downloading L2 and launch it I get the following error:

"The GameGuard was cancelled. Please try running it again after doing a virus scan or changing the settings in your PC program. (Error Code=360)"

and after awhile I get this error

"There was a problem running GameGuard. (Error Code=610)

Is there any way to fix this I looked all over l2orphus.com, and lineage2.com and I couldn't find anything can someone please tell me how to fix this problem I want to play thanks

If its the error thats there when you start up the game, do the following. Try plugging your cable straight to your modem instead of through a router if you have one. If you do not have a router then continue on. Go into your Lineage 2 folder, open the "system" folder. Inside you will the the GameGuard folder. Delete the entire folder and try starting it up again. That fixed mine.

I deleted the gameguard folder and reinstalled it but i still get the same errors so I figured it might be that my host file is incorrect or something so here is what my host file says:

# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

127.0.0.1 localhost
82.79.173.96 l2testauthd.lineage2.com

-If this is what the retail host file for L2 is suppose to say then tell me if its wrong please show me how i can fix it thanks

I'm getting this error now that the new update came out for l2.

I dont know wtf is causing it. I can't login on ANY of my PC's in the entire house, I even installed l2 for the first time on my brothers computer and his can't connect either..

I'm guessing it has to be my internet somehow?

I can't even access www.lineage2.com (http://www.lineage2.com) either..

wtf><

I get the same bloody error.. Error code 610 :(

If you find a solution let me know.

I've tried bypassing my router, I've tried flushing my DNS, I've tried deleting my game guard directory.. everything.

Any solutions would be greately appreciated ><

Can you load up www.lineage2.com (http://www.lineage2.com)? I can't even get to the homesite anymore.

Somehow its being blocked. I don't quite understand it tho because none of my PC's can access it.

You don't live in the Lowermainland region do you? lol maybe its just our ISP.

hmmm...

I think its definitely our internet then.

I know my internet went on and off late last night on me. Maybe thats part of the issue, maybe they are having DNS problems?
