Lineage2 dose not support SLI, It dose not take advantage of it.

I use the 8800 GTS. It works fine.

In fact I had 2 x 8800 GTS working in SLI. All it did was over heat and gave me long ass load times. Horrible black screening deaths.

I took one out and it works just fine. Super fast load times. THe 9800 GT is an even better card I think. IF you only play LII it has more than enough power.

The 9800 gt is also a great all around card for most game. It can even play Crysis by not a great FPS.

for crossfire or 4870X2 only one GPU will working... Crossfire can stay activate in CCC don't need to disable it, you will not get problem, but the cossfire will not work during game. ( there's no support actually for L2 with SLI and crossfire, as far as i know.)

So, if you only play L2, Crossfire or SLI is not an option, if you play other title yes..
