Ultionis! Reform on Aion? :)

Hey...good old Armpit here...still alive!

Anyways, was talking with the evil Irish wench Estalia the other day about Aion and we were talking about the good old Ultionis days from Devianne...and thought it would be a great idea to try and get as many as the old members as we could back together and reform on Aion seeing as it is...well, a hopefully improved version of l2 (at least till l3 comes out!) Just hoping to get in contact with as many members as possible and see who is interested, or at least who can hook me up with contact info for as many people as possible! Can count me in as a cleric for sure!

...so interested? You all know you can't wait to hear Sorgsen say, "What the fuck..." on vent again, I know I can't! ;)

I am gonna try Aion for sure. Eventho it's a RvR game it seems kinda fun.

As many of you know we have a vent going 24/7 and a website.

Very nice initiative Aram (and nice to see you again btw). I encourage everyone from Ultionis (or outside that we used to play with) to contact Aramitheya or myself or anyone else for that matter that will play Aion.

I know agan, caveat and gharm is gonna try it aswell (nepito is going to do militaryduty) Apart from that I havent really checked with old members for this game.

Glad to see so much interest! Wasn't sure how much I would get, or even how many I would be able to contact, but things are going much better then I had thought! Going to make an official 'who is interested' list this weekend or something. Trying to figure out easiest way for euros to get a US version of Aion or vice versa if needed (sadly have already pre ordered US collectors...so partial to playing on NA server!) I am sure will probably be more euros so if it is a hastle for them to play on NA, might be better for the USAers to go to the Euro servers.

Yeah, thinking we going with Covenant members now, though sure we will have a select few from outside. Once I get a good idea of who is interested will go over with Sorgsen at least, and probably the other Uliti 'core' folks to see who else they would be interested in having. I mean...is there anyway we could turn down Slycutter if he wanted to join? Very doubtful that we could!

They didn't make it WoW like from what I understand...just more 'western' style then 'korean' style, meaning you don't have to just spend 20 hours a day grinding non stop to get anywhere, which for me became such an issue near the end of l2 because I wanted to do more then just grind, but I can be a bit OC about being the highest level and all that stuff, so I am glad to be done with that. WoW isn't too bad of a game in a lot of aspects (I like the different 'builds' with the talents, the large amount of gear and items, crafting stuff was...ok I guess, pvp was shit for sure lol) I loved l2's combat, graphics, and many other things from it...just got annoyed with the crazy things you had to do to get a level, not to mention the farmers taking over everything (even though they were a riot to talk with!)

I think that by making it less 'devote your life to stand a chance' it will be better (I can go out IRL! :ef_luv2:) In L2, if you didn't grind up to be high level with S grade and CoV or the other high level buffs, it seemed very hard to stand a chance. I would be glad to get away from that a bit!


@ Estalia: lol I had almost forgot about that from Agantharas! Anyone know how to hold of the Mexican Mafia also? Would be nice to get those crazy folks back too! haha

I got a handful of old players from the chitown area. Morlek just preloaded yesterday and he's gonna give the beta a go. Not sure if he will play or not on release. Orgasmatron will be getting it as well and a few others. Talked with a few Cov members, should just get a good rally and all agree on a server.

I bet you are Morlek in disguise! Tell him and Orgas to get on here and post or send their info to me or Sorgs.

We have a lot of people interested, I think now that the only issue that remains is to play on a NA or EU server. Hopefully NCSoft has it like L2 where they were on the same list and if you wanted to play EU, you could & were not forced to find a EU version of the game or vice-versa. :/

Edit: Just found this from the official beta forums...lets hope they make this easy for us!

Q: I am in Europe, can I play with my friends/legion-mates on the NA servers (or vice versa)?

This is yet to be announced. We are looking into getting you an answer as soon as possible. You will however need an active EU account if you want to play on EU servers, and vice versa for NA servers.
