Its ok. League of Legends is better.

Though I don't know if I would say that it is "better" but I would say I enjoy it more because league of legends is all new... ALL new heroes, new items, new recipes, etc. With some cool things added on top of it as well.

HoN is just dota. they don't even go as far as to change the cost of items.. they don't balance anything, they have no originality, its dota with different gphx.. Which still makes it a good game.. but.. if you've played dota for ages then those heroes are so boring by now.

The game is good, kinda better than the old dota.

Its not that hard to play if you were good at the old dota.

The items are almost the same, just need get familiar with the new names.

Once you re-learn all the item names its not so bad.
Balance is the main issue with it to be honest, certain heroes are just fucking stupidly good.

Yeah madman is stupidly OP end game if you let him farm, you basically have to lock him down early mid game and end it quick, once he gets the 30% life steal and pumps his atck speed up he is impossible to kill.

I like playing as pollywog, most people have no idea what to do when I pop out to gankzor.
