75 AW with MM Demonsword and full A, vs BD in full B, 7x. Does the BD have a chance?

ya a bd has a chance mm=maybe aw win more times then the bd does but
bd can put out some damg if they a dd bd and take some damg if they a hp
bd.
When i fight aw's or any dagger if I crit couple times on them I can match there damg and have a real good chance of winning, and if I dont crit its
gf ill try again later :)

if its self buffed the aw is gonna get rocked
other then that my adena is on the aW for full buffs, especially if the aw had dances too =p

It just depends on what setup the BD has and how many of the stabs the AW gets off. If its a HP BD, then no. If its a DD BD then they have a shot. Also, if the AW gets all three stabs off, then its dirt nap time for the BD. To be honest, I'm least afraid of Daggers than any other DD class now.

a great fight. Yes if he lands all his skills im dead, but if he misses a skill or two it gets interesting fast :dem_happy

Well the one time I've fought him, he landed DB, MB, and Blinding Blow. Then he landed one more DB after it cooled down, and I was out. I had BW Heavy, +5Str, and Dual SLS +4.
The MM helps alot imo.

Maybe if.. um, the BD doesn't notice the AW used UE and by chance doesn't use UD... then, maybe, the AW might win.

BD in majestic heavy and dual damascus +4 has a pretty sick accuracy though, might still get a few hits off during UE ;P

I UDed and she UEd, and I killed her with Magic/sting/PBD etc, while her specials were poking me for like 200 dmg...

My setup:
BW Heavy
+4 dual SLS (they aren't mine, so don't tell me they're sh itty duals)
random ass jewelry, C grade
+5 str
His setup:
Demonsword w/MM
DC light
+3 BO
and I belive +3dex - 3str
Fight was outside for exp loss. Fight started with him trying to freeze me, failed, then I tried to freeze him, and he cancelled that with a Deadly Blow. He then landed Blinding Blow and Mortal Blow, I was at 1/2 HP. He ran while waiting for DB to cool down, then landed it one last time to finish me. No UE.
Only chance would've been to UD and spam quick heals/CP pots - sounds like he was landing pretty much everything, no way you're gonna control that fight. Even worse, without majestic and your tat setup he could've just pulled back with BB and went for a stunshot too, instead of just letting his skills recharge.
On top of that, weak jewelry... ouch. Did he Hex? :hm_swt:
Thing is, he was very well equipped (tho NM > DC) and had lvls... Now if you two had been equally geared (and you had Dance of Vamp, not sure if you did) the fight w/could've turned out very different.
Still, at least you gave it a shot.

We're in the same clan, so we can't Hex/Powerbreak each other.

dunno if you've noticed yet, but the dagger's level3 stunshot doesn't land for shit as of c3, and the damage is definately not worth the mp cost, nor the time when you can just shoot twice.

no one uses stun shot for the damg^^ its the stun effact u want. lvl 3 stunshot should never land on 60+ char ><
about the fight use freeze strike at same time he use his, as he runs in use sting, if his blows land just keep hitting him with normal hits (hope u crit) if he miss do poison blade dance, if he runs mid fight drain him (u have bow? then hit with bow instead of drain, crit from bow on dagger will hurt)

Nope, no bow. Well, I have no bow, but he does, so he decided to take it easy on me and agree to not use a bow.
Thats also the reason I didn't try and freeze him right off the bat. I figured he'd need to come up to me anyway to fight with a dagger, whats the point of slowing him since he isn't kiting me. But then he starts running away at the beginning after failing his freeze, and thats when I went for mine. It was cancelled, and I died.

I've had it land 3 in a row on an SK with unmodded stats (in Doom). Still, it doesn't land enough to be reliable... just on some classes, depending on the situation, it might be worth taking the chance on.
And it's not the damage, it's the fact that you could interrupt and you've practically got a guaranteed backstab.
I just threw the damage comment out just incase thats why you'd use it, tbh. Really, the only good side of stunshot for a dagger is that it will never miss. At 7x, I can't even get stun to land on a SE with -con tats.
I guess thats just how you'd prefer to play tho. Personally, I'd rather use the time to gamble on my TH critting with a bow two to three times than hoping for stunshot to land, only to have a *chance* of getting backstab to land, especially if I have any sort of deathwhisper/focus buff. Critting that way will give you very simliar damage that DB+VS will do, on a tank. Thanks to the whole pdef raping db damage and all
