Help with site FTP

Tried to update my site today and when I went to connect to my server through my FTP, it gave me this...

Unable to connect to data socket, error reason : Connection timed out.

It's been working fine until just now. I havent changed ANYTHING. Dunno wtf is with this shit. I can change my site just fine through my server control panel... but I hate doing it this way and would like to know why my FTP is fucked up. I tried 3 different FTP's... same shit on them all...

I haven't changed anything on my computer. It just started this crap out of the blue.

I toggled the passive/active feature the night it was fucking up. I didnt even try to use the FTP yesterday, so maybe its working fine now... I've just been using the cpanel...
