Soul vs Carnage

my friend wants to get a soul bow..i tell him to get a carnage so he can get maj helm and get QR on his carnage..if he sells his +10 BoP he would be able to afford a BoP for xp...please gimme pros and cons of both

first, carnage doesnt get QR.

second, +10 BOP QR is better pvp weapon than +3 carnage or +3 soulbow.

third, choice of bow depends on class. is he a hawkeye? if so, yumi makes sense. if not, go with carnage. but i still say keep the +10 bop.

seriously, you should look at stratics before asking questions.

EDIT: if he wants majestic, have the clan hunt in TOI and get the recipe. it's silly to buy it unless you're a massive ebayer and just want it. the armor, boots, and gloves are cheap as hell to make. the loss of a +10 BOP is stupid just for stun resist which if he waits he will eventually be able to get.

I believe it all depends form the style You prefer.
I am taking SR as my sub soon and i want to use whats the best in him so i definaly will try BoP+xx QR. IMPO SR should take use from his best atributes which are speed/evasion so faster U shoot faster U can be in move and thats the way to go.
Not really sure how it works with PR, never really had played one.

I find Hawkeye kinda "static" archers. They have high hp/cp and awsome dmg but move slow with low evasion. I think as a HE i would go for maximum dmg output not caring much about speed, this way I would try to max best hawkeye atributes. So I say soul bow.

About carnage bow..dont really never used it but cannot find much OE carnage bows and dmg comparing to BoP is not really much bigger( except of course PvP bonus) but crappy SAs are reason i kinda dislike this bow.

Just my 2 cents, played SR and HE up to lvl 60 around only, this opinion is based on my experience. Of course not all have ot agree with me.

yes QR BOP is best pvp bow. you too dumb to see that? gee..lemme think...it's got the highest attack speed of any bow in the game. it's attack speed is completely unachievable by the A grade bows. damage in pvp, when ++++ed out, is comparable to A grade bows w/ SA.

there's 3 criteria that make an archer. HP, damage, and mobility. each of the archers has 2 of these 3 criteria. Hawkeye has HP and damage. SR has HP and mobility. PR has damage and mobility.

any class that has mobility as part of it's makeup should NOT be using a yumi bow. they require their ability to fire quickly and move.

using a yumi bow not only slows down your normal attack. it slows down your specials. your enemies will get their stunshot off first, rendering you worthless, and dead.

PR is kinda similar to SR except it's crits actually hurt...it doesnt evade as much or run quite as fast though. and stun = death for PR's.

however, it does get a large bag of tricks that help you alot in specific circumstances. couple debuffs, snare that can land on whites, ability to throw mob agro around, and of course, sting. (though you'll hardly ever use it as a ranged char...)

its all about the crits , if you fight 1 vs 1 then bop is better but in group pvp go soulbow for sure. 3 k patck vs 2,2 k patck hmm , you will crit like a sr with souldbow when you use bop so it sucks.

and you're counting people i cant even see.

kingtick, the sws, revelation, abet, and sleepingbueaty are bots. alot of those people ported in after that little tiff. it was 9 people vs 6... we had quite literally 1 full party (including bots) when we actually fought.

the 70+ daggers were there, but i picked up 7 pvp's at FG that day. (counting people who respawned, ppl on subs, etc etc.

edit: oh now i see, you counted a bunch of these people twice. kingtick is counted as both 6 and 15..

is that orichimaru i see? and you counted him as one of us?

sleepingbueaty is right next to orichimaru. and she's the only EE there.

in that screenshot i count 10 people including bots. there are 3 people who's clan tag i cant see. those people may or may not be with us. i have a feeling the dark elf running up the stairs was with us. i think the light elf wasnt.
