Giants Cave Exploration Part 1 and 2

I been doing this quest for very long and if anyone has any question about quest items or w/e just ask here
There are 4 different books you can make with the chapters you gather:
-Giants Magic
-Giants Golem
-Giants Medical Science
-Giants Architecture

That far i've got the follow rewards randomly from all those books:
-Tallum plate 60%
-DC BP 60%
-DC Gaiters 60%
-DC Leather mail 60%
-DC Leggings 60%

Getting close to finish 2nd part books as well , but its kinda annoying cuz of no parties usually down there to kill giants , plus its full of farmers =(

quest is terrbile imo :/...no way to pick what u get and its so hard to get the parts and only have like a 25% chance to get what u want

the quest gives lvl 7 recs on first part and lvl 8 on 2nd part

Takes forever Jong, it's the worst quest you ever imagined multiplied by 1000.
Im deadly serious when i say we spent 4 days in there avg or 6 hours per round and only got 6 parchments in a 3 man group.

Start it at the dude that stands in front of the entrance to the GC. Its the entrance most to the south-west. I forgot his name.

When ever i get asked about this quest in clan or ally chat, or just on vent, I tell them to go and buy the recipes. Let the farmers do the quest. It is not worth the time to get the recipe you want. On kain, the most expensive recipe from this quest is the majestic leather. This sells for about 1.5 million on kain. If anyone has ever done this quest, they will probably agree that 1.5 million is a great price for the recipe. Other lvl 8 recipe that you get from the quest are going for 300k-500k.
