View Full Version : lineage closes without error message in windowed mode

If I run windowed mode, and click outside of the Lineage window at any time, the screen closes, no more lineage. I dont get a crash error like with other errors, it just goes away.

I have the latest drivers, I have an almost identical setup computer that I can use windowed mode on without any problems.

Any ideas?

You need to uninstall your Asian language pack...I don't know why it works, but it does (for most people).

yeah, it's stupid...I found it out because I had the chinese language installed to play RFO around the same time that started happening to me (some patch caused the conflict). When I removed it, L2 stopped crashing.

People on the official boards were complaining the same thing, so I posted what I did and asked people to try it and it worked for a lot of them.

the L2 client has "Lineage 2" written in korean after the english word "Lineage 2" in the title bar.. in windows mode the letters get screwed up when switching and it causes a crash.
