Im an ebay nub i dont know what are the scam method or how i can be ripped out of my money or how i can protect my self to make sure nothing goes wrong, i was really interested in one of the auction i saw on ebay so i bid, then the seller closes the account and sends me an email after i sended him a message about the items this is what i got in my email

My item is brand new, unopened box
all accessories included and also an international warranty.
First I am going to tell you some things I think you should know before
ending this deal.
I travel a lot and now I am in Eastern Europe. The item is going to be
shipped from europe also.
Now, I can ship through UPS air next day delivery. I will pay for all
taxes. If you wish you can also send me your full shipping info so I can
make a reservation on your name .
The price of the bike is 800 usd (as I said earlier with shipping and
insurance taxes included). I need some money as fast as possible so I am
offering a 10 % discount if we end the deal in 24 hours.
Here I am stuck to western union wire transfer.I can't use paypal
because it's not available yet. Just because of this I set up an insurance
with ebay which guaranties 100 % of this deal. If you wish I can contact
eBay right away and have them send you an invoice with my insurance.
If you agree on my terms I am sure we can close the deal right now.
Please reply after you think it over.
Best regards.

my question is... this is a scam right?

Our records indicate that you recently sent an email to or received an email from buggin74 through the eBay email system (for example, you may have sent an email to this member through Ask Seller a Question or received an email from this member through Contact eBay Member).

Sometimes eBay accounts are used to send email solicitations for transactions outside of eBay, or to send unrelated questions in hopes that you will respond so that the other party can obtain your email address. We wanted you to be aware of the potential fraud risk these solicitations pose and encourage you to be cautious about the email you received from this member.

Please keep in mind, sales that take place outside of eBay are not eligible for any eBay or PayPal protective services and you run the risk of losing your money or your item if you complete these transactions. We would encourage you to review the eBay pages related to Fraud Protection at the address provided below for information on steps you can take to ensure that your transactions are successful:

I bought a lot of stuff on ebay for my car.
Don't buy nothing from outside ebay!

I done it many time.
and I got lucky never got scam but it's realy dangerous.

I save around 800$ tax like that but verry risky I don't recomand that.

Especely if he is asking WesterUnion....
go on WesterUnion and read they policy you gone a understand what I meen.
use paypal it's way safer.

and when I done some deals out side ebay it was me that was asking the persone to do it.
Not the persone ask me to do it.
