intel processors. Is lineage still unable to run on this type of machine? I'm in the market to build a new box and I thought I remember reading that dual core users cannot run l2. Is this still an issue? Has it ever been an issue?

dual core may gie some issues.
My l2 was only using one processor instead of two untill i installed the patch. I still think L2 doesnt' fully take advantage of them tho
most of the peeps I know can't run 2 clients for the life of em...
so dual boxing may be an issue. would be interested to know if anyone got over this problem, i'd love to pass the good word on.

If you are going to run dual AMDs, you will need a few things. First go to AMD's website and download the latest dual core patch. Next, download the Microsoft hotfix for it and finally disable your Cool n Quiet feature. I did this and I have no issues with my dual core AMD.
Here is the link to forum help...this is the last time I am posting it :) It is too darn long to keep typing!

maybe intel does not have the same issues that AMD is having.
