suprnova.org was great, but now it's down.

elitetorrents.org was an awesome replacement. But as you can see they got shut down too.

My filelist.org membership seems to have vanished.

Now I just search a number of random BT sites whenever I want something.

Anyone know of a good site that is worth registering to with a good tracker and plenty of active torrents?

www.exeem.com

This program was created by the people who ran suprnova.org. It is currently in beta testing (0.25) and you have to register to the forum to download it (they do this so they can get better feedback). Since it is not open to the general public they do not have a large number of files yet, but it is definately worth trying out.

Main idea behind this program is (if I got it right) that there are no servers involved. So unlike supernova.org, shutting down exeem.com does not have any effect on the number of files.

exeem was never made by suprnova people.

the guy who ran it is the spokesperson for Exeem

i remember so many people anticipating the arrival of exeem but when released there were lots of unsettling rumors about it that kind of killed all the hype.

So i never really used it much but if you currently use it and think it's worthwhile i'll check it out.

I use a lot of the sites you guys have mentioned but none seem to be on par with suprnova or ET. isohunt seems pretty decent i'll add that to the list of 4-5 sites i browse currently.
