Connection Issue

Hey im looking to come back to L2 but im at college and i cant connect to the update server. Any ideas on how to get through the firewall. THanks in advance.

yea the one i looked at didnt really solve anything just said that i was SOL any thread u vould give me the address to that could solve the problem cause i cant even connect to the update server let alone enter the game.

If you're really desperate to get in at once you might try this as a temporary solution:

The name of the file to edit is:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Use wordpad or notepad to edit. Add:

216.107.242.195 l2authd.lineage2.com

at the end of that file and save.

Oh, and then reboot and do a full check.

What rz prolly meant was that most things get copy/pasted from the official boards anyway, so there's no need to visit them :-P (I still do from time to time)
