some free korean mmorpg... called Flyff

the rundown:

This game is exactly like Ragnarok Online except 3D and a bit more flexible. Basically better than RO, if anyone is familiar with that game. Also whats awesome is this game is free. Next is the gear actually shows on your toon, in RO only head gear was visible. What I really think is a great aspect to the game is the pvp, its almost exactly and similar to Lineage II, you pk someone your name is flagged Red, also there is duels which are negotiable and dont give any penalties similar to arena accept all you have to do is initiate a legit duel and both sides agree. Also there is an open PVP aspect to it as well, its in Beta stage atm but so far Im finding this game really fun.

Try it out, I find it very entertaining so far. And you dont need a killer computer to run this game.

games pretty goofy, theres a huge hit in exp gained from mobs lower level then you, i mean huge, chars run so dorky, the sounds are annoying too, game looks sounds and feels very childish

upside is its easy to get started, the newbie leveling areas are nice, its a good concept and charactures look pretty cool in the higher level gear

I didn't really feel that the style of the game applies itself well to being grindy. Imo the only reason it's slow like that is to make the game last longer seeing as how flyff has very few perks to it other than straight up leveling your life away.

I have a level 39 warrior on there, gets more exp per kill than my level 25 cleric in lineage2. XD Besides that, the game is cute. I'd like it a lot more if the music wasn't like playing Pokemon on gameboy. ;p I even donated a little to get my character in a cute little santa suit. <3

The game really isn't that good. At first I looked forward to things, but the clan system and such is just to boring to have anything to look forward to later on. ::shrug::

The gameplay is ok, and the different classes are pretty cool. But like most games where you design your character based on stats, most people go for full stamina, full INT, full dex type of builds. I played it for a bit cause it was free, got to lvl 71, and the grind became hellish. The PvP is a joke, and guild wars end when the leader is killed, so it sucks unless you have a full STA knight. But then other guilds won't fight you. Money is pretty easy to get though, cause drops are plentiful and you can solo giants with most classes around the 60s which can give you up to 10 drops easily.

Not a bad game to pass the time, but not worth too much of a time investment. Also, it uses pay shop instead of being p2p.
