RK & the farmers

Allrighty,

I am not hiding under a fake nick,
I registered on a forum that is owned by an RK member thus giving away my e-mail addy.

It would be nice if this thread wouldn't end up in another "flame RK topic".

For me and most of the members of my clan its kind of a rule, that what happens in the game should stay in the game.

I can go drink a beer in RL with someone I play against in L2.

I do not respect people that threaten, cheat, bot, get powerleveled by farmers, take game stuff out of the game though.

Assuming that TC and the rest of RK are really against "botting" and "powerleveling" I assume that they are interested in MyFairyTale being powerleveled in Blazing Swamp by a group of Chinese farmers.

Its also nice that the Farmers defend RK when we attack RK.

I will send screenshots to the leaders if they PM me their e-mail addy.

There is something like a code of behaviour called manners. Even on the anonymus internet...you don't obey it...you earn disrespect from some people.

I think we should all learn to live with the farmers as if they where just other clans. I dont see any way to get them out as long as people wish to the the best and are willing to spend a few houndred dollers to get a jump start. I dont respect them, but also the only thing we can do is pk them. Do you really think pking farmers hurts them? they delevel every night to gaurds.
If we want to get something done, than its time to put more pressure on ncsoft, not the ingame farmers that dont understand what we are saying. NCsoft has the power to look at logs of people to ban us if we "say something bad" they can use that same power to go "holy crap this guy just got 300m from a random person that is lvl 1.... HRMMMMMM maybe something is going on" It wouldnt be all that hard to put a system in place that monitored money exchanges at such a high level. Also you would see that "hrmm this person just baught a map for 20m HRMMM maybe something is wrong." As long as people buy and ncsoft does nothing. Than we are stuck like this.

maybe farmers do not really pose THAT much of a threat in c3 since there is plenty of lvling spaces for all kinds of levels and they do not siege castles....I do not like them but I do not see them as a problem.


just a chinese guy trying to feed his kids...to some extend...

one day i traded 17m to a friends character (lvl1) and i logged off.
after ~15min or so he got a petition windows from the GM.
GM asked him where and why he got such a large ammount of adena. he said he got it from me cuz im his friend.
GM didnt believe the story and rolled back his character till the state before the trade. they also said they will keep an eye on him.

when i got back online we did multiple simultanious petitions explaining the situation and convincing them it was a legit deal and in the end they refunded me the adena.

so yes, they DO monitor large ingame adena trades.
im not sure wether this covers the 'potion for 60,000,000a' shops tho..

well I still dont think they do enough. It cant be all that hard to stop see how as other games dont have near the problem. As for not midnging the farmers.. i didnt say that.. I DO MIND THEM! they are the reason BoP is 30mil and not 10m.. if we couldnt buy adena on line or it cost way to much... items would be more rare yes.. but they would cost a lot less also. It would make the game more skilled.. i mean how many people have BoP's right now? out of those people, how many do you think r lagit?
Some have clans to back them
Some got some lucky drop
Some crafted
Most ebayed, igned, whatever other sites there r now

if you had most of the mats for a bop before c3 crafting a bop could be that cheap. If your trying to craft a bop right now with the way market prices are for and you need all the mats for it then yea its gonna be pretty dang expensive :x

edit: w/o farmers we would have alot more adena as there wont be alot 2 buy/craft som we will spend most our time huntin instead of shopin...so i dunno...mayb w/o them it will become unstabled?
