a friend says he has a 3-4 second delay on everything in l2
is that normal for satelite?

Unfortunately.. he is most likely on a dial-up uplink and a satelite down-link... that means.. information he sends is at dial-up (56k) speed and then has a massively fast download reaction... satellite is prob the worst connection you nca have for games... even normal 56k dialup. As there is a time delay between action and reaction.

Though... even with pure satellite up and down links... you are not going to get as good game play as most other connection platforms.
