Note: Don't get too used to the words I used for the ranks/titles. I did my best to guess what NC would translate them to but I could be very wrong!

Have you been to dion/gludin lately? Granted its not like the old days, but there are plenty of noobs around.

Wow sound really cool, at last something to help ppl not only stick to a clan but also keep a goal for the clan leaders.. who can sometimes feel very lonely and useless.
Nice option, can we get C5 now? :)

OK true there.. ;)
But... My clan is already all 60+ Its hard to recruit level 35's and have parties for them.
I guess that might be part of the idea.. Depending on the rewards for the clan for helping the lower levels.
Not that I dislike helping the lower levels, we sometimes recruit a couple, but they never seem to stay because of the level gap.

i like the idea but i wonder what the rewards will be for helping the little guys other than an extra rank that so far (as far as we know) does nothing....

Would be interesting to know what those "various clan skills and items depending on rank" are, but I guess the preview site does not really tell anything about them yet...

for a guess they would be siege related, but they could really be anything...... like:
/useskill ClanCharge (ups clan memebers running speed significantly for 15 seconds while attacking a castle) :P
/useskill ClanBatteringRam (an orc fighter grabs the nearest non orc character clan member and uses them as a battering ram causing significant damage to structures, halfs HP of clan member)
see, could be anything :P

I'm only guessing but Viscount MIGHT be an Ally Leader cause there's fucking zerg behind him.
And Earl might be castle owner (because there's throne behind him).

Hellrose, can you check the "sage" pic please? I suppose that rank 8 should be "Guards unit member" instead of "Knights unit member" (because that is already occupied by "knight").

If anybody found these pictures as confusing as I did, I made a list of the titles here on a sheet of paper, and it is a bit clearer this way:
Clans can have ranks now ( 1-8 ). For titles, clans of rank 1-5 seem to be treated the same way. Clan rank can be increased via clan wars, clan quests, clan hall battles and clan academy. Clan academy is something you can apparently get as a higher rank clan, and it has something to do with 2nd class change quest for newbie clan members (they do their quest "at the academy" and that somehow increases the reputation of the clan, and the newbie gets "commemorative items" for the quest).
Also, higher rank clans can have a "knights unit" and a "guards unit". That's apparently clan internal ranking - i.e. the clan leader assigns some members to these "units" (they can have members and a leader each), and those players then get different titles than standard members. From what I understand, the actual members of these units have lower titles than "standard" members, while the leaders of these units have higher titles. Maybe you're supposed to put new members first into these units, and later on they become "full" members or whatever. A bit weird. Or maybe you're supposed to have a 2nd / 3rd in command (the unit leaders) with their own men (their unit members), while the "standard" clan members are supposed to be led by the clan leader.
Special cases are Noblesse and Heroes. Noblesse are always "barons" (probably unless they could have a higher title via some other way, like e.g. being clan leaders), and heroes are always "Marquis".
Unclanned players are "wanderers". Clanned characters of a lvl 4 or lower clan with rank 5 or less are "citizens", and all clan members who are using the clan academy are "apprentices".
Those were the special cases. Everything else is determined via the reputation rank of the clan:
Clan reputation rank 5 or lower:
Esquire: Clan member of a lvl 5+ clan
Knight: leader of a lvl 4 clan
Sage: leader of a lvl 5+ clan
Clan reputation rank 6:
Esquire: Guards unit member
Knight: standard clan member
Sage: Guards unit leader
Baron: clan leader
Clan reputation rank 7:
Esquire: Knights unit member
Knight: Guards unit member
Sage: standard clan member
Baron: Knights unit leader
Viscount: Guards unit leader
Earl: clan leader
Clan reputation rank 8:
Knight: Knights unit member
Sage: Guards unit member
Baron: standard clan member
Viscount: Knights unit leader
Earl: Guards unit leader
Marquis: clan leader

lineageii is growing gooddamn quickly and with the Unreal3 engine its gonna be the biggest and most complicated mmorpg ever
but with all bonuses, unique items, S grade and so on its getting kinda overpowered for very high lvl players and one day, there will be 'robots'
