Temple Knights

Tribunal - lvl55
Strikes with a gathering of holy energy. Taunts and decreases the accuracy of the enemy for a brief moment. Can be used when equipped with sword/blunt. Overhit possible.
Arrest - Temple Knight - lvl55
Taunts and puts the enemy in a state of hold for a brief moment. Cannot be recasted while the the hold state is in effect.

Paladins

Shackle - lvl55

Mass Shackle - Paladin - lvl58
Taunts surrounding enemies and puts them in a state of hold. Cannot be recasted while the hold state is in effect.
Banish Undead - Paladin - lvl55
Puts undead enemies in a state of fear, causing them to run away. Chance of instant kill. Uses soul ore.
Angelic Icon - Paladin - lvl58
Player receives a holy calling, causing a surge in combat ability for a period of time. Decreases the effect of heals received. Can be used when HP falls to less than 30%.


Dark Avengers

Strikes with a gathering of dark energy. Taunts and decreases the accuracy of the enemy for a brief moment. Can be used when equipped with sword/blunt. Overhit possible.

Sword Singers

Taunts and puts the enemy in a state of hold for a brief moment. Cannot be recasted while the the hold state is in effect.
Psycho Symphony - 55
Decreases the runspeed/atk.speed/casting speed of surrounding enemies for a brief moment.


Skill Changes

All hate skills now affect PCs
Judgement: Does about 200 more dmg than normal dmg against PC. Debuff decreases accruacy by 9, lands at a very low rate.

Paladin
All hate skills now affect PCs
Tribunal: Does about 200 more dmg than normal dmg against PC. Debuff decreases accruacy by 9, lands at a very low rate.
Banish Undead: works on Necromancer summons

Shilien Knight

Hot freaking damn. Arrest. Shackle. And it taunts. That's right bitches, no more running from us. You stand and face us now. You thought anchor/gloom was bad, now knights are finally going to be able to do what they were meant to do: stop evil villans! Kinda.

Well, in open field pvp anyway.

What does this mean for us?

If a nuker runs up to you and tries to gank, we don't have to stand and take it. We can root and run, or try to duke it out with our new attacks, all of which could help us survive. Hell, Paladins now seem ultra set up to take on necros. They can banish their summon, then proceed to take lower amounts of damage with their toggle they got this chronicle, deal out some damage with our gasp first ever attack skill, and if they get low, proceed to whup some double ass on the now servitor-less necro. Whee!

PS, I love the names of the tank attack skills. Tribunal for the good tanks, Judgement for the bad. You sissy elves and paladins go to a council, have a bit of a chat, and decide, "yeah, I guess we should put him down." Us DA's and Shillien Knights, on the other hand...we know what to do, and we take matters into our own hands. Bwhahaha! Here's hoping they're relatively fast to use, and have a decent cooldown. Lord knows paladins and TKs have enough mana to do stuff with in PVP as it is. Also, there's a possibility that hate skills will now switch target in PVP. WHEE!!!

PS, Man, what love for the paladins. You get your equivelant 'ultimate offense' skill, mass root which only orcs have right now, and the ability to turn (and possibly destroy) undead like D&D clerics. While I still can say I'm glad I went DA, I do envy you guys.

Of course, these skills will only really help in field PVP or 1v1's. Stacked range groups are still going to dominate the day on the siege grounds.

wow paladins get a nice boost from that shit, and the bd/sws emergency skills look leet too

but uhh... i doubt its gonna change THAT much

They still need to just make hate useful in pvp. I can see why they dont, cast speed is pretty fast for such a powerful skill. The best way would to be single hate works in pvp. That way they can at least keep a high dmg dealer on them and not other dd's.

Maybe make aoe hate work only while in UD. Could get interesting.

Well it is a pretty good time to be a tank.
In all honesty I thought we got a pretty good boost in C4... those 3rd class skills are pretty uber.
But it didn't fell like much of a boost becuase only a very small number of us are going to reach 78.
C5 boosts on the other hand are low level, as soon as it hits we're all going to have some useful new toys to play with.

But at the same time I can't understand why TK always seem like an afterthought, it always appears that anything they get is only because they've given it to all the other tanks. Maybe it seems like I'm biased, but I've played both TK and Pal, and the Paladin feels like a much more well rounded class. Is there like a huge number of people playing TK in Korea or something?
At the same time, I can think of 3 lvl 75 TKs on my server yet no 75 Paladins... Is this purely because TK were the best AoE tank in C3?

Glav I doubt the taunt aspect works in PvP.

Farfalla and Gallahad, but I rarely ever see Gallahad. I don't even know if I got his name right lol. I just remember getting a wtf out of him when I fought him once. I don't think Delox or TheBlu got to 75 with aoe. Just me. :O

I'm kinda blanking out the taunt part until I know for sure it works in pvp. You never know, maybe they gheyed it on us.

Online translators do not take into account context.
They translate word for word, which in most if not all cases regarding sentance structure and ACTUAL meaning is wrong.

The translations in my first post are hellrose's translations. They're about as accurate as you're going to get. Since it says "taunt" and not "switch target", it'll probably act just like hate, increasing our threat to the mob while we do it. However, we can still pray that 'hate' skills become 'change target' skills!

What I was pointing out isn't really the meaning of the translation, but the fact that the two descriptions are practically identical. Here it is in Hangul:

Judgement: 암흑 기운을 모아 가격한다. 적의 공격 욕구를 자극하고 순간적으로 명중을 감소시킨다. 도검/둔기 무기 장비시 사용 가능. 오버히트 가능.

Hate: 적의 공격욕구를 자극한다. 위력 655.

The last syllable is different but I believe the difference between chagukha-da and chagukhan-go is just the tense of the verb or something grammatical like that. Babel fish translates one to 'It stimulates' and the other to 'It stimulates, ' I need to find a Korean tutor >_>

But yeah we can all wish in our heavy armour heart of hearts that hate will work in pvp, the way it should be ~__~.

These two skills interest me the most. Would Banish Undead replace the sancuary skill we already have? (i'm guessing yes) I would find this very usfull while PvEing in the lair. I hope it has a improved land rate, or can be Bsps'd. The Angelic Icon, I will have to judge it when the PTS opens up for NA. It sounds like Frenzy, consider tho palys usally set up with a -str +con setup. You can activate it sooner, but your patt already sucks.

I have an odd feeling this is going to land as much as Sword Symphony......which would make it suck.
