Hot freaking damn. Arrest. Shackle. And it taunts. That's right bitches, no more running from us. You stand and face us now. You thought anchor/gloom was bad, now knights are finally going to be able to do what they were meant to do: stop evil villans! Kinda.
Well, in open field pvp anyway.
What does this mean for us?
If a nuker runs up to you and tries to gank, we don't have to stand and take it. We can root and run, or try to duke it out with our new attacks, all of which could help us survive. Hell, Paladins now seem ultra set up to take on necros. They can banish their summon, then proceed to take lower amounts of damage with their toggle they got this chronicle, deal out some damage with our gasp first ever attack skill, and if they get low, proceed to whup some double ass on the now servitor-less necro. Whee!
PS, I love the names of the tank attack skills. Tribunal for the good tanks, Judgement for the bad. You sissy elves and paladins go to a council, have a bit of a chat, and decide, "yeah, I guess we should put him down." Us DA's and Shillien Knights, on the other hand...we know what to do, and we take matters into our own hands. Bwhahaha! Here's hoping they're relatively fast to use, and have a decent cooldown. Lord knows paladins and TKs have enough mana to do stuff with in PVP as it is. Also, there's a possibility that hate skills will now switch target in PVP. WHEE!!!
PS, Man, what love for the paladins. You get your equivelant 'ultimate offense' skill, mass root which only orcs have right now, and the ability to turn (and possibly destroy) undead like D&D clerics. While I still can say I'm glad I went DA, I do envy you guys.
Of course, these skills will only really help in field PVP or 1v1's. Stacked range groups are still going to dominate the day on the siege grounds.
