Because the patch notes were completely nondescript on how existing skills were changed, I made this thead to compile information reported by PTS players. Keep in mind they're all still in testing so obviously they're subject to change.

I'll try to update as best as I can. If you make any threads or posts related to skill changes please make a post here too and I'll link or quote it. Thanks!

This is not a list of new skills. These are just ones that I've found additional information on.

*5/16 added Zealot
*5/09 Major Heal casting speed has been patched.
*5/06 Added bits to Destroyer, BH, Warsmith, Glad. It's not much but it's a start =_=. Added some other little bits to some other places. Added Snipe.
*4/30 Might Mortal added. Focus Attack and Thunder Storm added. Summon change added. Arcane Distruption and Betray added.
*4/28 Mana Burn details added..slightly disappointed. Major Heal/GroupHeal have slow casting speed, and they do not seem to be 100% heals. Added slight Necro nerf. Greater Might/Shield and Chant of War/Shield do not stack with each other. Found some new info on mana burn. it's effective but it doesn't burn all.
*4/27 apparently all hate skills now work against player chars. added Tribunal, Judgement. added sleep nerf. added banish undead. added Turn undead. Major Heal requires spirit ore. Greater Heal instant:overtime readjusted. Added Trance. Added Blessing of Sagittarius. Added Greater Might/Shield and Chant of War/Shield.


Abyss Walker

Deadly Blow: enchanced with Instant Kill effect
Back Stab: enchanced with 'Instant Kill' effect
Lethal Blow: Cooltime reduced
Bluff: Mp cost reduced to 35
Focus Power/Chance: Mp cost reduced to 35
Vicious Stance: adds a bit more critical damage to stab skills.
Might Mortal: 2 minute self-buff. 5 minute cooldown (can be shortened with buffs etc).Bishop

Casting time on sleep skills have been greatly increased
Mana Burn: High chance of landing. M.atk dependent.
Sapped about 100 against unbuffed targets with Tateossean Jewllery. Sapped 400 against targets without Jewllery. Tester was using Ghoul Staff.
Mana Storm: Same as Mana Burn, but AoE
Turn Undead: Works against Necromancer summons
Erase: has low landing rate. uses spirit ore.
Major Heal: Costs 1 spirit ore. Casting speed about the same as Greater Heal.
Major Group Heal: Costs 4 spirit ore. Slow casting speed.
Greater Heal: Heals 70% instantly, 30% over time - regen rate slow. (No changes to Greater Battle Heal.)
Greater Group Heal: Heals 70% instantly, 30% over time - regen rate slow.
Trance: fast casting speed. costs 34mp. nearly instant reuse time. lasts 5 seconds.Bounty Hunter

War Frenzy: Goes upto lvl3. MP use similar to viscious stance.Dark Avenger

Judgement: Does about 200 more dmg than normal dmg against PC. Debuff decreases accruacy by 9, lands at a very low rate.
Summon's HP can now be viewed by all (including enemies) when targetted.
Destroyer

Polearm Accuracy: Toggle skill. Goes upto lvl3. At lvl77 added 4 accuracy. MP use similar to vicious stance.
Wide Attack: 2 minute self-buff. Reuse time about 30 seconds. Goes upto level 5.
War Frenzy: Goes upto lvl3. MP use similar to viscious stance.
Zealot: Active skill. Activates at 30% HP. Lasts 2 minutes. Reuse time 2 minutes. Drains a large amount of HP and CP per tick (On a lvl61 Tyrant, drained 200 HP and 200 CP per tick. Patk +50, pdef -33, accuracy +6, atk speed +133, mdef -56, evasion -12, movement speed +10.)
Elder

Casting time on sleep skills have been greatly increased
Mana Burn: High chance of landing. M.atk dependent.

I'm told that the charge use of certain skills have been reduced. For example. Triple Sonic Slash Power 7 still requires 7 charges, but after using it you're left with 3 charges. (Gladiators please correct me if I'm understanding this wrong.)
Vicious Stance: adds a bit more critical damage to skills.Hawkeye

Pain of Sagittarius: Converts at about 9HP:1MP ratio (took 387 HP gave 43 MP). 20 second delay.

Dash: cool time reduced to around 1 min. Duration time increased to 15 seconds

Stealth: not a toggle skill like silent walk. Duration = 2minutes, able to use it right away again(Cool time <2min), P. Atk, P. Def, M. Def, Accuracy and Critical chance greatly decreased during stealth. No movement speed deduction.
Lethal Blow: Cooltime reduced
Bluff: Mp cost reduced to 35
Focus Power/Chance: Mp cost reduced to 35

Zealot: Active skill. Activates at 30% HP. Lasts 2 minutes. Reuse time 2 minutes. Drains a large amount of HP and CP per tick (On a lvl61 Tyrant, drained 200 HP and 200 CP per tick. Patk +50, pdef -33, accuracy +6, atk speed +133, mdef -56, evasion -12, movement speed +10.) Warcryer

Chant of War/Earth: Stacks with regular shield/might buffs but do not stack with each other. Uses spirit ore.Warlock

Wide Attack: 2 minute self-buff. Reuse time about 30 seconds. Goes upto level 5.
Thunder Storm: MP use slightly increased. (At lvl3 uses 58mp instead of 43mp)
War Frenzy: Toggle skill. MP use similar to Vicious Stance.
Vicious Stance: adds a bit more critical damage to skills.

Wow, are tyrants real popular in Korea? It seems like the only time a class is nerfed is when lots of people in Korea play them.... they're really going after tyrants here >.<

if the bear totem nerf is percentage based, they've basicly made it completely useless. The reduction in atk speed is 25%. The boost in p.atk is 20%. Not to mention the other penalties. I'm just gonna assume that this is a fixed ammount of atk speed taken away. If it isn't, then NCSoft are completely retarded (which wouldn't be the first time)

Regardless, it's too much of a nerf :(

I bet they nerfed all the other totems while they were at it :(

Why would you even want to use bear if it dropped atk speed that much? I wouldn't really use wolf either unless I was gonna die without it.

When you exp in catacombs/necros, or other places with a tight respawn, the reduction in runspeed doesn't really bother you that much. It's +20% p.atk, and your runspeed is reduced to around 140, depending on tattoos, and armor. 140 runspeed is still ok for exp'ing.

Wolf totem adds 20 runspeed, and I mostly use it for running from A to B, or when I wanna train people, or if I get too much aggro. A p.def/m.def reduction is still kinda retarded :(

If bear drops your atk speed 20%, speed by a lot and ups your patk 20% (and masteries are not included on this, so it's actually less than 20%), you're doing less damage than you were doing without the totem on, except now you also run slow. Oh, and reusing it over and over means whatever totem you use in between (thx to the new totem timers) will take 20% longer to recharge, meaning you can use it once a year. :D

For wolf.....argh I actually used that totem. T_T

And they havent mentioned the rest of the totems yet...

Did they really need to nerf 2 marginally usefully totems? Both are now completely worthless in PVP. Does NC think Tyrants are overpowered in PVP? All 6 of them on any NA server?

Wolf was the only way to to keep your speed at a decent rate (note, not even close to fast) after being slowed, which after C4, comes from most 77+ nukes now and lands pretty much every time, even through Hero reflect and Riposte Stance. Bear was almost useless in PVP without these nerfs, now it'll permanently removed from hotbars.

Looks like there's only one PVP option now for Tyrants, and that's using a bow with Puma and Bison. I thought they were suppose to change existing skills to play blaance the game, not make crappy classes even more vulnerable to archers and nukers. Sometimes I wonder if NC even knows what goes on in PVP.

Gonna have to work with a big set of target macros or something... or else a tank can just spam hate on someone and prevent that person from getting any skills off..

Even tough it's a tank skill I find it pretty annoying lol. (even for my enemies!)

I don't know if it'll be smart for tanks to spam it, I read that when the guy tested it, the second time hate aura was used everyone that had him targetted started attacking him.
So, 1st time: switch targets. 2nd time: forceattack on self.
(this was in arena though, not sure if it'll be the case outside the arena if the tank isn't flagged)
I mean.. yea, they'd prolly be spamming attack anyways but, it just doesn't seem smart to spam.

I'm also trying to picture what this means against nukers and healers.. will they end up running towards the tank to melee? lol

Sounds like the skill change needs some tweaking.


That's how the pvp hate system works in c4 for vengeance or the phantom summoner's hate. And yeah they will run up to melee the tank lol.
