From my understanding its half of a normal heal would be and the rest would be a heal over time..but that just seems really retarded.
With all the crits/magic crits being handed out its going to be near impossible to keep ppl up.
My last question is what does Major Heal do?

dmg output is so high in this game, they dont need to make healing slower and heal less. Seems like heals are now like quick healing pots, just a little better.
gay imo.

Shillen elder is not a real healer, but a bishop is!
So i think they just nerfed Se´s and stuff but bishop heals willl still beas ussual with major heal i think.
All they rly need to fix is increase the Magic Crit rate, remove heals and give us more varieties of res:of_happy:

From what i understand the current regular heals aka greater heals are being changed to be a 50% instant heal and the other 50% will be over time. Major heal will be taking currently greater heals place (will be a instant heal like the greater heals are currently).

Only Greater Heal and Greater Group Heal were changed to do part instant part over time. Greater Battle Heal is the same.
According to what I've read on these forums so far anyway.

The HoT effect isnt all that bad. A group heal will give the whole party an over time hp buffer for people with full health. Think the idea is to give healers time to do other stuff than to constantly watch hp bars. Thier supposed to be aggressive pvp chars now and that change might make it easier.

if it's like that then it's good

Very interesting take on healing. If that is the case it was a decent move on NC's part. Although they should keep it at 100% heal with HoT if they wanted that to happen TBH. If you've ever healed a party being attacked by another party with a lvl78 buff(ESPECIALLY COV), you would agree.

why would I save bsps?
As far as i know major heals don't heal 100% of your hp, so its still of use to heal with bsps since it increases power and castspeed.

Normal heals = PvE
Majro heals = PvP
Most probaly they wana balance things out.
The 70% insta 30% overtime will be good in pve.
And major heals will be more pvp oriented.

This better be sarcastic. Increase magic crit rate? Yeah sure, and why not just make it do 10x damage too! moron.

Heals learned past lvl 40 such as Greater Heal / Greater Group Heal have been changed from immediate to immediate + over time.
so that would include greater heal, greater group heal, gbh, vitalize, and restore life (though I don't know how they'll have it work with the last)
Restore life/vitalize aren't 'heals', they're Restore Life and Vitalize. :p
And according to Hellrose's C5 Skill Change List (http://www.l2guru.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29696), it's 70/30, not 50/50, as reported earlier.

It is ok using spirit ore for heals... healers costs are really minimal anyway.
But if healers are supposed to do that all the time, they should lower the spirit ore weight by at least 1/2 or i won't be able to carry enough..
Well, i actually can as EE using the weight buff.. but it still sux if i need to keep it up all the time since i will want to carry at least 1K spirit ore whit me. And what about a bish? ^^

a spirit ore is around 460 each in my server, with the use of bsps will be around 760 per heal? that's about twice more expensive than now
