Since Twixter is too busy with work (have fun in New York oppa) we've decided I'll take over this section as well. Sorry it's so late :)
The quest part takes too long so I'll do the other parts first.

C5 PTS Patch Notes

[Interface]
For increased transparency in item transactions, following features have been added.
Player's name will be indicated on the trade window
Amounts entered will be re-indicated in text
Trade window will grey out when trade is agreed upon
Dwarven craft cost will be indicated in a different color so that it's easier to see
Item weight will be indicated in lower right corner of trade window
Added a tooltip that re-indicates in text any adena amount when rolled over. This applies to the following windows:
Player shops
Craft shops
NPC shops
Inventory
Warehouse etc.
The compass (viewfinder) has been improved
The attribute of the area where the player is situated will be indicated by the colour of the compass.
The attributes are as follows:
Blue: Peace Zone
Red: Irregular Zone (areas that cast debuffs/buffs)
Orange: Siege zone
Green: PvP Combat (arena) zone
Announcements will be made in the window exclusive to system messages
A new Player Shop Search button has been added to the actions panel
A pet's type will be indicated in the dropdown area of the target window
The bug where overenchanged pet items were not being displayed properly has been fixed
Shortcut bar can now be locked (note: finally!)
When the shortcut bar is locked, shortcut icons cannot be moved, added or deleted.
Locking and unlocking can be done by clicking on the lock icon at the bottom of the bar.
Stacked items can now be moved in stacks
Press alt while dragging to move the entire stack at once
Shortcut window for gamepads has been improved
Tool Tips for armor sets have been improved so that set bonuses can be viewed easily
Raid Interface
Any clan members that have acquired the clan skill Clan Imperium can now create raid channels.
When entering a Raid Boss area, all party members of the raid channel will be ported in at once.
If requirements are met, the party that contains the leader of the raid channel will be given the rights to pick up drops for a short period of time. (Antharas, Valakas, Frintessa, Baium)
Party Matching
The chatting area of the party matching window has been increased to 8 rows
Added a list of characters that have the party matching window open. Players can send PMs or invite the player to a party matching channel through this list.
Alert messages during quests will now be indicated at the center of the screen
The 'cape' slot has been replaced by a second accessory slot.

[Fishing]
Fishing Tournament
Prizes given to players that have fished the biggest fish
The tournament process is as follows:
The tournament will take place intermittently
The first week will be competition period where rankings will be placed based on fish size
The second week, a prize will be distributed tot he winner, and a new competition period can take place.
If two fishes are of the same size, the first fish to be registed will be the winning fish.
The prize can be clained through the Fishing Guild NPC
Anybody can participate in the fishing tournament
The fishing tournament status can be verified through the Fishing Guild NPC.
Night Fishing
Night Fishing system is as follows:
Night Fishing can take place between 24h to 06h ingame time.
Ingame time can be verified through the command /time
In order to night fish, the player must have 'glowing bait'
'Glowing Bait' can be purchased through the Fishing Guild NPC.
When Glowing Bait is used during night time, high-level fish can be caught
Glowing Bait will not yield any fish during daytime
Higher level fish use a trick skill unlike regualr fish.
Higher level fish give a variety of fish scales
Fish scales can be traded in at the Fishing Guild NPC for a variety of items.
Glowing Bait can used only be at night, and unlike regular bait has a glowing graphic effect.
The type of higher level fish and fish scale depends on the level of Fishing Mastery.

[Castles]
Rune and Schuttgart castles have been added

[Clan Halls]
Auctionable Clan Halls
7 auctionable clan halls in Rune Castle Town added
4 auctionable clan halls in Schuttgart Castle Town added
Clan Halls in Rune Castle Town are A Grade Clan Halls
Clan Halls in Schuttgart are B Grade Clan Halls
Conquerable Clan Halls
Three Conquerable Clan Halls added
Beast Farm
The Beast Farm clan hall employs a team battle system similar to Bandit's Stronghold
Players can sign up for battle through the NPC in front of the Clan Hall. First 5 clans to sign up will be eligible for participation.
Clan level requirement is level 4
Number of players is limited to a maximum of 18 players per clan
The area has tameable mobs that are relatively easier to tame.
Hideout of the Fallen
Located near the southeast seashore of Rune Castle Town, the hideout employs a siege system similar to Devastated Castle.
Clan level requirement is level 4
Conquering process is identical to that of Devastated Castle
The leader of the clan with ownership is able to mount a wyvern.
Rainbow Spring
Situated tot he north of Hot Springs area, this clan hall introduces a conquer strategy new to this chronicle.
The ownership of this clan hall will be determined by a minigame
Clan level requirement is level 3
Maximum number of clans that can participate is 4
Minimum of 5 players and a maximum of 1 party, including the clan leader, can participate per clan.
The registration process is as follows
The clan leader is able to sign-up upto 1 hour before the minigame
The clan leader must present a 'Hot Springs Clan Hall Participation Form'
The 'Participation Form' can be acquired by fishing in the Hot Springs area
When the clan leader proceeds to sign up, the entire stack of 'Participation Form's will disappear. A score will be recorded based on the number of 'Participation Forms' that were registered.
If there are 5 clans registered, the 4 clans with the highest number of registered 'Participation Form's will be allowed to compete
If a registered clan dissolves during the registration period, the registration is automatically cancelled. 'Participation Form's will not be returned.
All registered clans can cancel their registration before the end of the registration period. When cancelled, 50% of the 'Participation Form's will be returned.
The minigame proceeds as follows
Once the competition starts, the participating clan leader must be in a party of 5 people or more.
Each of the participating clans will be ported to a different game arena through the gatekeeper NPC. Any players other than the participating 4 parties will be moved outside the game area.
When the game starts, a Yeti will appear at the center of the arena to announce it.
For about 1 minute the Yeti will explain game rules.
Once the game starts, the Yeti will randomly call out certain words. At this time, treasure bozes will appear along with a Hot Springs Pumpkin at the center of the arena.
The party that is first to destroy their Pumpkin wins the game.
Various items can be used to destroy the Pumpkin, or to stop others from destroying theirs.
These tiems can be received from the Yeti.
In order to receive items from the Yeti, players must open the treasure boxes and use the alphabets found in the treasure boxes to form words that the Yeti called out earlier. These words must be submitted to the Yeti in exchange for items.
Treausre boxes can only be opened by attacking with bare hands.
PvP is disabled within the game area.
Pets and summons cannot be summoned in the area.
The game continues even if players are disconnected during the process.
If the server restarts during the game, the game will continue from where it left off when the server comes back online.
XP lost upon death within the game area is 1/4 of the normal XP loss.


[Castle Siege Changes]
Due to the 2 new castles in Rune and Schuttgart, at most 5 sieges can now occur simultaneously.
Castle Siege Boss 'Venom' added
Castle Siege Boss Monster 'Venom' as been added to the underground jail cell of Rune Castle.
Venom will appear in the underground cell 24 hours before the siege
The defending clans are able to port to the cell to raid Venom up until the start of the siege
If Venom is not slain before the start of siege, when 2 more more life crystals are destroyed during siege, Venom will appear near the throne and attack both attacking/defending clans.
Castle control functions can now only be done during the rewards period of Seven Signs. The Castle NPC will verify the status of the Seven Signs seals when the castle owner attempts to control any castle functions.

[Seven Signs]
When a player that was part of the winning cabal in the previous rewards period signs up for the same cabal, all of the player's registered seal stones will automatically be compensated in ancient adena.
Therefore, seal stones cannot be stored and recalculated into seal competition scores during the next period.

[Manor System]
With the introduction of the Rune and Schuttgart castles, manor system will be added to Rune, Orc and Dwarven areas.

[Other]
Rain and snow may fall on the new territories depending on the weather.

They were refering to accessories that take "two accessory slots" in one of the other threads.

My guess: High & Low. You can probably wear a hairpin and a monocle, but not a hairpin and cat ears.

any word or talk if bandits is fixed? If this is like bandits, and it says a maximum of 18 players, then this is a lie. The owner of bandits can have up to 40 people fighting the entire time vs the 18.

and btw, Hideout of the Fallen will never be taken if it is like dev. castle.

and the hot spring just sounds gay as fuck.

Depends on whether or not they want to fight for it again. I will agree that it's a bit hard to take, however the other poster made it sound impossible when it's not. Some clans have kept it for awhile, untill they either got tired of fighting for it or just didn't have the numbers for it.
