Lineage2 up to lineage1?

I've played lineage1 for about 3 1/2 - 4years before moving to lineage2 after mass banning of the chinese pledges. And i know lineage2 takes place 150 years before lineage1's time. My question is i seen the "C12" map and i noticed there isnt many area's that are in lineage1 i.e. Fire Valley, Kent Village ect. Does anyone know if NCsoft was not planning to meet up with Lineage1's time and just go a different route with Lineage2?

I've always seen them as kind of separate continuities anyway, unless there's some event that shrinks down Antharas and the other dragons by 500% around the time of Lineage 1.
I haven't seen them specify what direction they want to go and how accurate it will be to the established story, but I'm guessing that by the end the two maps will be pretty close to identical, with only a short gap of time between the games. Stuff like Kent and Fire Valley can either be expected later, or were developed as a result of or after the catastrophic event the shifted Aden.

Yeah i was kinda thinkin they wouldnt go thru 150years to meet lineage1's time, and lineage1 sucks now its just like lineage2 all gank wars. right b4 i left i could take my con/int mage and have loads of fun pledgeless no back up no healing no buffs (besides what i could do to my self) and it would be a blast. Now its all about Destroy (powerful magic spell) mages and elfs workin together to 2hit ppl..
