I noticed that L2 is geting more cheap looking everyday it pass.
First they got an idea of glowing weapons, ok i can accept that, but at least you could make it like: red glow +fire damage, blue glow +aqua damage, green glow +poison damage, you get the point? You could use seal stones + enchants or something.
Ok now to the accessories, things like bunny ears, party hats, corns, cowboy hats? Wtf am i playing? MU? RO?, this stuff shouldnt be in the time in which this game is placed into. I saw the word Goggles, and i was like yay finnaly something that actualy looks cool, and then i saw this:

Ok it looks cute on female dwarfs, but what about the other chars?
I think they should start adding textures for armor helmets, and not this fancy crap.

WTF is with that light glow? Cant i be a dark hero? Why does dark elfs, or any other dark magic based char, like DA has to glow like a god damn light bulb? They should give you an option to to select between light and dark glow(something simmilar to DA`s Reflect Damage skill effect).

I think Headgear is fine. It's just dress up on your char, no bonuses or anything, before it was "everyone looks the same". Now everyone looks a little unique and now your complaining. I guess we can't all have it right can we? These things will be good for players who are casual gamers.

From the start I've always wanted Soulshots and Spiritshots sound/graphic toggleable. No other game has a "spash" when you swing a sword, now I'm scared because now I think anything else is wierd when I look at it. Any other game I play I am doing damage and I don't see the Soulshot/Spiritshot go off I instinctively think to turn it off and believe I am not doing the damage I could be. I like the shots and all but it just doesn't need to be shown if you don't want it to.

As for Overenchanted Weapons, I always thought NCSoft could be a little more creative. Enchants could give more abilities other than just more dps. It would be nice to see more "Enchant Weapon Haste", where you could only have 3 enchants total on the weapon before chance of breaking. They can still do this and have Enchant Weapon's as the common cheap enchants. As for glow I feel there should be a different color of glow for every weapon, and a different way of glowing. The weapon should glow, not around it. I think it's a good idea for glowing weapons and armor because although it gives a bonus, anything that makes you stand out in PvP is bad. The hero glow is bad because people will target you, a red weapon will announce a threat and thus dropped quicker. In my opinion +15 > +16 as much as that might be hard to believe.

All seriousness though some of the headgear looks cheesy, but some I actually like. At least the new stuff, I didn't care much for masks. I like the hat and the goggles rock for dwarves and reminds me of Rikku in FFX.

About the Hero Glow, I think it's justified it's "light". If you've bothered to do the Noblesse quest you will understand you practically pledge to Eva that your going to rid the world of evil. So after that theres not much letting you be a dark hero as far as the games story goes. You can pick up the new sword as a hero, I guess that works?

Then they want us to get rid of the evil o.O? Dagger/Archers are kinda bandits,
necromancer, summoners, dark avangers, etc, etc, we are here to destory the world, to get rid of light, not of evil, you got paladins, prophets, elf, etc, etc for the light side

1. Lineage 2 isn't a representation of real-life.
2. Koreans like the accessories thing, it's a common thing throughout a lot of MMO's and other games like QuizQuiz, why should they change it for L2?

I have to agree that bunny ears have little to do with medieval time theme. However, it’s perfectly fine when on dwarfs. BTW, new hats look pretty lame and don’t match at all with most of the armor sets because NCSoft decided to release them with only one color.

I very much agree with the people saying that a line should be drawn.

Obviously all the bunny ears and other "cute" stuff is very appealing to the Asian community but what about all the others.

Why not put in some helmets, maybe the opportunity to put scars on your characters face and body, capes ect ect ect? In addition to all the "cute" pets why couldn't NCsoft add something a bit more creepy like spiders or bats as a pet?

I understand that L2 is not supposed to be a gory gloomy dark game in general. Still you spend a lot of your time in dungeons fighting dragons and other beasts. What the hell do you need bunny ears for?

In general I'm not opposed to all the cute stuff but there should at least be something opposite aswell.
