Hi Peoples,

I really want to just discuss about the conflict of gay marrige...or gay people in general. Flames are allowed.

personally I am for gay marrige and I do not mind gay people,I infact support them. They are just trying to marry,or date,or whatever,people that they love. Its the same thing with heterosexuals,they date women and marry women (or vis versa of course) becuase they are in love with them (for the most part) so,now

Well I don't mind gay people at all and I think they should have the same rights as any other couple, but I don't think it should be called a marrige. Marrige is a term that has been only ever used for a man and a woman, and to change that is kind of a slap in the face to our traditions.

I also think they shouldn't use the term marrige, mostly because the proper term is marriage, that they can use.

I have no problem with it, it should be their right. I'd hate to be married by the church and not get the tax benefits from the government because they didnt recognize my form of marriage even though I loved someone as much as any other person.

Gay marrige is not something to be tampered with by the government. If their relgion doesn't say its bad then a minister should be able to "wed' two people, gay or striaght.

I hardly see whats wrong with it.. I mean, aside from all religion influences, I'd like to hear a good reason why it's not alright. I'm an Atheist, so I may have conflicting views with alot of people here. :lol: I say equality in this aspect is the best way to go, but when something happens (Say a divorce) I don't want any homosexual man/woman blaming any problems on them being gay. Equality isn't only there when it helps.
