I just saw this today. I read all through it and it seems like it will be an awesome game in the future. They seemed to have done well at E3 this year as well. You could say it's a little similar to Guild Wars... but better and more sophisticated. Apparently they boast you will need alot of skill, it will probably be an action/strategy/rpg MMO all in one. As well the best part, you proceed through the game in PvP challenges.
So what do you think?
Edit: The graphics don't look too shaby either

UPDATE******
*source www.unleashthefury.com
*Possible Release Date is somewhere in Q4 2007
Seems like its going to be a PvPMMO only with zero grind.
Check out this info. I am still not sure if it will have enough depth but it sure seems like its worth a try:
SOME FEATURES WORTH MENTIONING:
1.Incarnation is a template, that you design, made up of your available abilities and equipment. Let's say that one of the roles you like to play is a healer. You can design one of your Incarnations by setting up the abilities and equipment that you want to use whenever you feel like being a healer and save that setup as an Incarnation. Before each battle, you can choose that Incarnation, or any other that you've saved, from a drop-down menu so that you're instantly set to go. Of course Incarnations are not set in stone. They can be redesigned as often as you want.
2. ZONES: There are two different types of zones/areas in Fury. One is for combat, and one is for non-combat. Both are instances where only a limited amount of players can be at 1 time.
Warzones
This is where the actual combat occurs. When you or your team is ready to battle, you enter an instanced Warzone, at which point no one else may enter. You fight against players/teams from other realms. Realms are similar to shards or servers and are named with colors, so if you're in the Green realm, you'll be fighting someone in the Gold realm or Purple realm, and so on.
Sanctuaries
Sanctuaries are where all the non-combat activities take place, such as socializing, trading with other players, interacting with NPCs, forming groups, and tweaking your Incarnation. You can jump between the instances of them with the down arrow beside the name of the Sanctuary. The number represents the amount of players in that instance?

3. Combat
Combat in Fury is fast-paced and intense. Think of it like an FPS but with MMORPG spells/skills. There is no auto-attack, so you can't just "target, /stick or auto-follow, and spam your attack chain." [1] Similar to FPS, your target must in your line-of-sight for your attacks to hit.
Unlike MMORPGs, there is no mana bar in Fury. Using magical abilities requires a type of energy called charges. Some abilitie genrate charges. In order to use an ability that uses charges, you will have to comsume a certain amount of your charges (determined by the ability being used). Higher tier abilities will require more charges to cast, so managing your charges is very important.
Matchmaking
Fury's matchmaking system will pit similarly ranked players and teams from different realms against each other to ensure that everyone gets a fair fight.
At the moment the matchmaker will try to pair people based on two factors:
Incarnation rank
Highest ability/item rank
(This goes for all gametypes)
In an ideal situation (with enough players) it will always match people of the same rank, and further refine that match up by looking at their highest ability or item rank. However, if there aren't enough players in the queue, it will simply wait a set minimum time, then expand the criteria slightly. This means you could be matched against people of higher ranks.
This system will eventually be changed to actually matchmake based on a player's performance.
Challenge System
The Challenge system allows a player/group/clan to challenge anyone else on the same realm to match on any map using any gametype. The purpose is for having a way to practice or test new incarnations/strategies/etc without affecting your ladder standing, because Challenge matches do not count towards any ladder rankings, nor do you get any reward such as loot or advancement towards character ranks.
Ladders
Ladders are separated into two categories: qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative ladders focus on player skill by looking at best performing games within a period of time. Quantitative ladders concentrate more on dedication over time. More specific ladders types include clan ladders, individual ladders, and realm ladders.
Conclusion***
Fury is the ultimate competitive online RPG. It takes the best elements of an MMO - combat, advancement and teamwork - and blends them with the best elements of an FPS - instant action, fast pacing and diverse game types.
The dynamic gameplay cycle lets you fight, earn rewards, and use those rewards to customize your character as much as you want.

What the Dev Team are saying about Fury:
"Fury is pure PvP - think WoW Battlegrounds and Guild Wars on steroids mixed with some Unreal Tournament and Battlefield 2. You get right into the action without having to grind and most importantly, your skill and knowledge are the greatest influence on how well you do, not just the color of your gear. – Adam Carpenter, Lead Designer
"Not only is Fury a game about combat, it’s a min-maxers dream, with the strongest and most flexible character development system ever. Rather than fighting, many people will spend more time perfecting their avatar’s incarnations in order to gain the ultimate edge in battle. – Paul Whipp, Producer
