I just got a new pc ordered for me today from work (for me to have at home) as a thankyou for doing work to win a bid.
The graphics card I specified was the 512 7900GTX, I know that should run fine with L2, but does anyone have any experience with how its runs?

Nice, but problem,
Is it EVGA?
cause if it is, check their website and their forums, tons of people are having problems with it,
and i mean PROBLEMS, some people RMAed theirs 5 times before they got a decent working one

what type of EVGAs? 7900s or older, cause i have the 7600 GT, and I have no problems with it, its just the 7900 model that people are having issues.
check their forum and you will see.

yea, the 7800s had a few problems but nothign like they have been posting about the 7900s. I was reading threw some of the threads and eVGA was basicly bending over backwards to help solve the problem, paying for shipping like 1 night shipping ect.
I havent been back but, I think they are rolling out new 7900s soon.

don't touch the 7900GTX's until they get them fixed i got a system with dual 7900GTX's and i can't play for more than an hour with bluescreening or sometimes it just restarts itself. it says it's the drivers but i have the most up to date drivers available. here are some of the probs these things are having: http://forums.pcper.com/showthread.php?t=417375
the 7900GT's seem to b stable but the only way i've heard so far of stabelizing the 7900gtx's is by backing them way down
