View Full Version : Login screen comes up but cannot login

I was playing L2 fine earlier today, but about an hour ago I tried to login and could not get in. The game login screen comes up like normal. I type in my login and password and hit click. Nothing happens. I hit click againg and then again and still nothing.

I tried deleting the gameguard folder and nothin happened. I did a dns flush and nothing happened. I do have an internetconnection as I am on right now. I have the game loaded on my home pc and my laptop. I tried logging on , on both and got the exact same result. Click click click and nothing happens.

I hit check file button on both PC's and it says unable to connect to the update server. Meanwhile I am talking to clannies on teamspeak that are in game. But, not all of them r in game because some are experiencing the same problem. I went to the official L2 forum and many ppl are having the same problem. I sent in a support ticket and have not yet got a reply. Probably won't get one until tommorow . So, if anyone has a solution please let me know.

Were you also not able to access their website?

It seems I have the same issue as you described.
But I am still able to connect to other websites and other games.
The connection to lineage game/site and plaync does not work though.

Hi MegaLark,

Seems like there is a problem in the routing to the L2 site/servers
I was able to work around the problem by using a free proxy.
Not sure how safe this is though.

Biggest problem is that you can't log a support call for it, since you are not able to reach either plaync or lineage2 sites.
I also checked other ncsoft games, and I can't reach their sites either.
These problems should occur while i am at work ;-) not in my weekend.

Same problem here.

All ppl I contacted with same ISP have the problem.

Traceroute stops @ limelight networks inc

Seems to be a DNS problem there. Support line from my ISP reports they are fixing it atm but dunno how long that will take :(

Which ISP is it?
Mine is www.demon.nl, my parrents are using @home, and they have same problem.

same thing here:
i get a gameguard error on the login screen and cant reach the official website,

when i /tracert lineage2.com i get stuck at limelight-net, AZ
some pub-proxy would let me reach the official website but that doesnt solve the gameguard problem :/

Still waiting for a response of NCSoft, logged a problem report using a free proxy.
My ISP also indicated that the failure starts at limelight networks inc.

/bump this topic got the same problem.
Together with 6 other people all since they rebooted the server for no reason yestoday fs..
Where all from Belgium and guess they forgot to re-open some ports...
Did all kind of checks already contacted our ISP provider and they can't even get on so its deffinatly with the tracing Hops somewhere it just stops, and NCSOFT has to deal with this problem and not ours.
But god it takes age's for them to reply on some mails from support etc, yea you get just the usualy random reply's fs they don't even bother reading what youre problem was becouse after 3 other random reply mails from them they ask to check this and that, while you gave them that info already in the first mail....NCSOFT just has the worse helping service ever...

i have the exactly the same fuking problem, but i am living in Canada.
weird. is there any body that solved the problem? and tell me how did you solve it please?
is it our DNS server problem? or NCsoft's?

It has to be ncsoft why a simple reason, everything worked perfect on friday before that sudden server reboot/crash, after it servers went up and could not connect anymore, called my isp provider they gave me all kind of things to try out nothing worked, some people in belgium have the same ISP and they can get on and I can't, same for 3 other people that livehere in the street and few others to living bit further..
We all got the exact same problems, we posted it on the official forums and explained all the problems we had the topic was 5pages long, and now its just DELETED without any reply from them even....
Really Ncsoft service is the worst I mean wtf they just delete the topic without bothering to help,...
Waiting already 48 ours on my support mail reply...
Guess we have to wait till monday when there back from weekend rofl..
Its really pethetic.

Having the same problem. I noticed that when u try to log in and then it just sits there, if u click on replay and start a replay you see the terms page but it is frozen in the replay and the replay doesnt play. This time i was in game and it crit errored and starts doing this shit, this happened to me once before so idk if the crit error has anything to do with it, all i know is this is fucking retarded and its pissing me off cause i am missing a clan hall seige :(

start--->run--->ipconfig /flushdns

i have the same prob now.

I perfomed flushdns, deletet GG folder and restartet my pc. but always when i type my login and passwort in the boxes and click on login nothing happen >.<


anyone got this prob now too?

i have the same problem.. ipconfig /releaseall and /renewall and /flushdns didnt solve the problem. this blows

yea I log on this morning before work just find. When I got home logged on then get Dced after about 15mins log on again get DCed after another 15-20mins. I logged on again then get DCed after about 2 mins. Now I cant even get passed the login screen.

P.S. the ipconfig/flushdns and all that didnt work either did that for about 30-45 mins
