GW:Factions, wondering if anyone plays or played?

Was just wondering if anyone played it or plays it. Ive been gaining some interest in it. Its nothing like L2, but it is free and the pvp content sounds entertaining. So anyone played or plays it?

i played their free preview weekend whenever that was. compared to the original gw, it's a lot nicer. you've got a ton of great looking scenery and two new classes (assassin, ritualist).

during that preview i came to see that the new missions were more group oriented and less individual+henchman oriented. now i haven't played since then, so there could be single player builds available now. if there are, well have fun doing things like http://img362.imageshack.us/img362/2485/14oe1.jpg all the time.

anyways, gw was never that superb to me; it was a play for a couple of days type thing.

I played the original one which like you said isn't like L2, but it was pretty good fun. I probably would actually be playing that right now if it weren't by chance. I was always decided on GW, but it kept getting delayed till I got frustrated and found L2. If that hadn't happened then I probably would have been playing GW not L2.

pvp in guild wars was kind of sucky
but the graffics were sweet
no ramdom killing and if you were in a party with a dumb ass you could get ride of him and find another usless you went back into town
the only good pvp was in the HoH lol everyone ganked the koreans.
to keep favor in the US
dont know about it now but i heard they didnt raise the lvl cap.

I started playing recently. I am having loads of fun even though I still have alot to learn.
The graphics are very good , the game play is cool & very skill dependant. Characters are very customizable in terms of looks and skills.
NPC AI is very good.
The quests and missions have been so far challenging and fun. Leveling is not the core of the game so no boring grind to not look forward to.
