OK, I made a movie, followed every step in the guide.

But how come when I try to upload it to filefront, it tells me "An unknown error has occured"?

Wanted some help in making Fraps

OK Earlier i tried to take the fraps of some battle so i hit F9 to initiate The Fraps turn red showing it on. So i went on focus on the battle without noticing it had actually stop.

Damn do i have to keep initiateit?

use the minus sign on the numpad as a hotkey to start recording

you can change it in your FRAPs settings

I have a problem:

I have some fraps videos and i want to edit them, but if i edit them using a program like windows movie maker or Adobe Premiere Pro, when i save the compliation in these programs, i lost so much quality.

I want to use the options of WMM or APP but without loosing quality, so does anyone knows how to do a compliation with one of these programs and dont compres the compliation? only do it and save with the same size than the original frap + music size , and then i'll compress with virtual dub , with a nice quality.

Where in Virtualdubmod I can change the brightness? Does it depends on gamma in Lineage II? I have gamma 4 and it's kinda light in game, when I making movies they're dark :|

before i used vegas, i used to cut compress the fraps in virtualdub, and later just join the cut out bits..

now that im using vegas i wanted to reedit some older compressed fraps..

turns out i cant.. in vegas... any ideas..

if u record in fraps, compress in VDub, u cant open it in vegas, atleast not the vid themusic comes in...

any help i preciate it.

ok so i did wat u said but when i try to take lets say the 2 files cause if it gos over lik 5 mins and 35 sec on fraps it starts another file and i did all the stuff u said to both of them the two passes and all that stuff then i try to use windows movie maker or watever i loose all the quality its literaly just lik mass squares wtf is the prob :dwm_mad:

I really dont wanna pay for a full regestration of fraps and the freeware version only takes 1/4 of the screen. My questions are: 1.) can you use the lineage replay recorder to acts as fraps? 2.) If you can, what program must be used to play it because windows media player does not work.....

im having problems installing the xvid codec that you provided.

yeah, im getting the same problem as buster, i have compressed the files (pretty sweet too lol, went from 1.3 gigs to about 30MBs), but when i put them in Vegas or Adobe they come out black (dont know aobut the sound cause id ont record the sound w/ fraps (cant talk in vent w/ that function lol)), however, when i play it in winamp it plays perfectly fine. Does any1 know how to fix this?

I followed instructions but my fraps only works for 28-30 SECONDS and then stops...


is this bcoz i havent payed for full version fraps, i thought it was free and you can just donate...??

I have a probelm... When i start full version Fraps it turns off when i start them...
But when i start Demo version of Fraps it runs...

Friends can use Full Fraps... and i can`t :(

Removed all Fraps versions of my compiuter and installed new one...
But still when i start Fraps it turns off
