My moniter power light just sits there blinking and i know its got something to do with the ac adapter. I put my foot on it and now it won't stop blinking. Im on a different computer right now that uses a different style of ac adapter so im not sure if its just my moniter. Anyone else ever have a similiar situation or know what to do in this situation?

Update:After a while it just turns off. The light stops blinking and if i fiddle with the AC adapter it goes again.

Well, I guess you can only try to get a replacement AC adapter. If monitor lights just blink it's sometimes due to the lack of a VGA signal, ie. your computer/video card/video cable might be worth checking, but since you said you stood on the AC adapter and there's a "response" if you fiddle with it, I'd try to replace that one (but check your computer with a 2nd monitor first anyway, if possible)
