NVIDIA GeForce4 488 Go


I have a laptop with that video card, installed drivers i could find..
But lineage keeps telling me that they are outdated.. and i cant find any better...

is my laptop doomed or is there a way it can still run lineage? hepl ty.

-Mayby try older version of drivers
-This card has only 64 ram.. it should run L2 but its low end card
-There is common problem with mobile cards , some games + some card = gg wont work.
For example new PoP:TT wont run on any mobile cards.
-Stupid question but , check if you have newest DirectX instaled @ lap

yeah, i just reinstall windows and stuff on it, installed directX 9

i tried that thing clownzim but it says that it cant install it cause it couldnt find any compatible drivers that go with the hardware...

the laptop did it in prelude, chro1 and in chro2 it died, i got it back and fixed in chro3 (or this one not sure) and now it just wont run lineage ~.~

it used to run it, but not anymore ~.~

ok, i kinda force installed (dont ask me how i did it, but for some reason i found something that made it do it) that driver that you gave me link to clown, and i installed a different driver then the vid card i have and it fucking worked (eventho windows said a zillion times that it wasnt compatible before)

i used MX 400 driver, and that seem to work :>

(yes im a total computer noob, so somethings can make sense to you guys, its all weird and terrible to me, but its working! so im happy)
