Unable to update Game guard Error 610

Anyone else gettin the gamguard unable to update, check network or firewall? I deleted the gameguard folder to let it reset by no joy. As for firewalls I have none, just a NAT setup on my router which has been unchanged.

Delete your gamegaurd folder in your Systems Folder (C:/Program Files/Lineage 2/System) and do a full check, should work just fine after that (Can't believe you people don't know this almost five chronicals later..

i have the same error since friday night, also i cant visit www.lineage2.com & www.plaync.com, cant play pts(same error)

so far i have :
unplugged my dsl stuff, ipconfig/flushdns, deleted gg folder->ran full check, deleted whole system folder -> ran full check, used serveral proxys with which i was able to visit the official webiste but wouldnt allow me to launch the game(error persists)

a tracert www.lineage2.com times out after 8-10 hops at some llnw.net address

i have the same error since friday night, also i cant visit www.lineage2.com (http://www.lineage2.com) & www.plaync.com (http://www.plaync.com), cant play pts(same error)

the time out is completely normal. If you're playing with a router try to bypass the router and connect directly with your computer, see so no ip/mac filters are activated in your router. Disable firewalls (windows firewall or if you have a seperate one), try to ping other american ip's (google whitehouse.gov etc). Check your host file should look like:

Ignore the swedish ^^, but you should just have 127.0.0.1 localhost
also check the lmhosts file and see that no line are active there, which means no line doesnt start with a "#".

Do a ipconfig /release all and a ipconfig /renew all
flush dns and thats about it what you can do :0
call your isp and see if they have any problems with the connection to american servers, give them the bartz ip and see if they can establish a connection.

i was in the game and get a d/c
and after that i had gameguard update error and cannot visit www.lineage2.com
i did the flushdns thing but nothing
i tried everythng that is written about gameguards problems in this site but nothing (delete gameguard folder, check host.ini)

i am playing from a university and i have this problem at all pc's in the lab i am working(and playing :) )

(maybe university admin block l2 ports, but what about the site????!!!!)

Just happened to me a second ago. I've tried rebooting, turning off all firewalls, deleting gamegaurd and doing a full scan... nothing...

This is bizarre. I had 2 L2 clients launched on my desktop but not logged in from this morning. I logged into them just fine about 2 hours ago.

I just tried firing up my laptop and Im having the errors everyone's describing above. Both computers run off the same router from the same cable internet connection. *sigh*

This will be hour 3 of the non-gaming experience. I've tried everything. I think it's a cable issue or something. I hear lots of people on the west coast are getting the same GG error. This sucks

According to stratics site and glop all the servers are up and running.

Oh and not just a comcast issue. My cousin can't connect and he has a verizon DSL connection.
