New hardrive have a question

I bought a new 74gb raptor hardrive because the last Hd i had did not have a sata port on it and it was lagging down my sytem. Is there any way i can use that other hardrive now as a secondary backup hardrive without formating it so i can keep alll my stuff. or is it gonna be a proplem cuz it has windows installed on it?

huh, no just set your new disk as master, and before you will log in windows it will ask you which windows do you want to use, select the raptor one, then i would suggest you to get another disk from your friend, and copy the data from old one to friends one (dont copy the windows too), format your old disk, copy data back to it, and use it ))
