And also more expensive lol. 512 MB is like 50-60, 1 GB is like 100-120. I think I will go gig though.

sounds good - and if anything I planned to get the Logitech case anyway since some of the GameSpy editors wrote about and loved it (besides, Logitech FTW - Switzerland FTW :D)

Woooot I got a PSP.

/thread.

O but I do need some opinions. Should I keep it at 1.50 for homebrew apps (even though I didn't play to much NES/SNES/MAME/GENESIS) or upgrade to 2.0 and get the official browser and wait for that to be cracked. I'm leaning towards 2.0 right now.

You should enjoy the tons of hacks and emulators for that thing. Definetly a good investment if you want to do a ton of shit in a portable manner.

we're in the off-topic section last time I checked, next time you think someone hurt your feelings by mentioning L2 players and nerd in the same sentence, better check the topic and don't reply out of context

BTW, @ topic - Lik Sand is importing Japanese instead of American PSPs to Europe after Sony sued them for importing the handheld which isn't officially released here yet. It's so stupid when free-trade is only supposed to work for the companies, not the consumers :(

Actually if he is importing Japanese thats BETTER for you, because then you can play the UMD DVDs from Europe since Japan and Europe have the same code. Plus you have a chance to get 1.0-1.5, in case you want to homebrew.

And to the idiot that told me I was on an L2 fansite, I just recently sold my account. STFU.

I have no idea if it's been asked and answered earlier in this thread, but how do you connect to the internet?

As for a normal handheld PC you either need a GPRS/GSM mobile phone that are compatible with the PC. Or you can use a wireless WLAN from your PC while being home.

But how does the PSP work? Is there a modem module you can buy or does it have it built in?

Built in. You go to internet browser, name the connection and just hit scan. It scans for all the wireless connections in the area as well as the signal strength and the security method on them (NONE, WEP, and WAP or some sh*t like that).
