O but I do need some opinions. Should I keep it at 1.50 for homebrew apps (even though I didn't play to much NES/SNES/MAME/GENESIS) or upgrade to 2.0 and get the official browser and wait for that to be cracked. I'm leaning towards 2.0 right now.

Lol well first, I got it cheap from a friend. $200 with the Spider man 2 movie and Metal Gear Ac!d. The reason I really bought it is to get a 1 gig chip or at least a 512 as it can replace my broken Mp3 player, portable DVD player, game system, 1337 shiz box. O and it plays games.

I was wondering though do you think that I should keep the firmware at 1.5 and be able to emulate SNES/NES/GBA/GBC/Sega/MAME games on it? Or should I update to firmware 2.0 which came with alot of new updates including a web browser for wireless internet access and better movie and music quality along with better space management for the movies and music allowing more of it on one chip.

Edit: And in case you are looking for one cheap, gamestop sells used ones with the movie for $200. or without for just $200.

You do not have 1.5, ONLY JAPANESE systems were sold with 1.5. The USA PSP shipped with a different version. And judging by the spiderman 2 which I do not think was pachaged with the japanese version.... you have an american version.

So you might as well upgrade.

Wrong buddy, JP came with 1.0, USA has 1.5, haven't you wondered about all the homebrew going on? You can tell by going to your PSP system information it tells you your version here.
