Well if the kid is born into an un-welcoming family, it's likely going to be negected and maybe abused physically. I'd rather have an aborted kid than one I have to watch out for in the city, or one that gets abused on a daily bases.

I think you missed something. Being pro choice does not mean that you want every embryo to be aborted, but that the women who not want a baby should have the possibility not to have one.

I haven't checked any statistics, but I would assume that the vast majority of pregnancies are either intended or wanted, if not both.

Comparing abortion with Holocaust is completely ridiculous.

right its selective murder... thats what i said... like selective euthanasia

Don't agree..... it is not racially motivated to allow a woman to choose to abort or not.

ProChoice - When it is your body and your life, you get to choose what you will do.

My opinion and what I feel is right for ME has nothing to do with what is right for others.

I do know this - If it were against the law, there would be more suicides and murders.

Every situation has it’s individual circumstances, and should be decided upon by those within the situation, not governed by those outside of it.

We all have choices to make, we have to live with ourselves for those choices.

I don't like babys. Not only do I support abortion, I reccomend it.

"Then you got these people that tell you raising kids is hard. 'It's so hard David, it's hard.' Come on man, that's not hard. Try talking your girlfriend into her third consecutive abortion. That's hard!"

pro-life already sounds ridiculous to me, as like embryos are "life". But of course for religious fanatics it is...

YES MY E-PENIS SUCEEDS YET AGAIN!!! The internet is great for improving self esteem

There's no period at the end of that smiley! Ho ho ho!

Edit: I'm kind of pro-life only because I feel if the woman did get pregnant she should deal with it. HOWEVER, if she gets pregnant unwantedly, I.E. Rape then I feel she SHOULD have a choice. But if a woman is going around sleeping with all these men than no, that's her fault for sleeping with like 40 guys without protection. However, again if the protection breaks or something fails, then maybe she should have a choice. I just don't think she should go in there without protection, on her own will, and when she gets pregnant decide she doesn't want it. I dunno its a touchy subject, I'm on the fence.

doesn't matter - it's her body, her life, her choice. Even if she screwed up when she, err, screwed guys without taking protection too seriously, doesn't justify the "punishment" of having to deal with a child if she doesn't want it.

Hmm I know this thread is a few days old but I was bored and started reading it. I am a woman and this is my stance on it: I myself would never choose abortion, if I fcked up and got pregnant when I wasnt ready, it is my responsibilty and I would do everything I could to give it a good life. If I was raped I would still have the baby, it wasnt the child's fault, i would look at it as something good coming from something bad. In any case it can be prevented and now the morning after pill can be taken in cases of rape. After all of that I still believe it is the woman's right to choose no matter how wrong I think it is. Like drugs ppl are going to do it no matter what, at least by giving them the choice it gives a safe and sterile place for them to go. I am prochoice but I myself choose life.
