There are honest legit players getting banned as well, if I was botting I would take it like a man and take the consequences but I play legit and got screwed. This problem though has happened on multiple servers over the past, some alliances on gustin got half of each others banned by mass petitioning, two alliances on teon do this too each other half the time too (but a lot of them do bot so u get what u deserve). But all it takes is mass petitions and bam the NCSoft bot will ban you a few hours later. Listen to the interview above and maybe you will see the truth.

A botter/cheater is essentially a player who felt badly beaten by the game and who, as a consequence, stops playing it by the rule.


On the other hand: if you have the use of a Fear spell: use it against botters! It's far more effective than any petition. :ef_luv2:

Remember few points first: once feared, a mob will run in the opposite direction as yours.. keep following the mob and you'll be able to litterally control it, hahaha... Fear also, cannot be broken - ie atking the mob won't break the spell. With that said, you now understand how Fear is especially good when bottards hunt near a clif. :of_happy:

Target their mob and fear it.. place yourself so that the mob falls from the cliff... the bot follow and goes down. If the botmaster was a lil bit more caustious and used the "don't atk mobs that another player has targeted".. then fear 2 mobs into the cliff and clear the area from mobs until some mobs respwn near those that are under the cliff. That way, the bottard will run down as soon as he kills these nearby mobs.

You can also simply wait until the bot runs toward a mob and then proceed to Fear that mob before it dies: it's harder cause the bot can kill it before the mob runs down the cliff... but once done: muhaha, so fun to see a walker trying to.. swim. :of_happy:

Fear is for nukers.. Tanks and their hate spell could maybe do it.. but they 'll have to fall under the cilff as well. :om_swt:

Just ignore those private server kiddos and if they annoy you too much, report them. If you look at servers like Erica you see what happens if they take over the server: it dies really soon and gets boring like hell. Yet they have to whine that they have to bot 24/7 because it's good for the economy and because there are no players that play themselves contradicting the reality of servers they already ruined.

Like I said what I just wait for is that they add pvp mode to walker/superman and a small function that sends you a email with your daily pvp stats. Then you could brag on the forum about your wtfpwnage and spend all the time you want doing something else. For only $15 x account number a month!

Well it seems you can get legit players banned too by petitioning. I was in a legit party a couple of days ago with clannies trying to get the DSS reciepe and our who party got banned for 3rd party program. None of us use any 3rd party programs and if the gm's had actually looked at how our party was all over the place they would of seen that! So be warned, if someone doesn't like your group hunting in a spot you will most likely get banned even if you did nothing wrong. NCSoft 4 the win!

ALL of your post on blah are the same thing ^^ all about a party that was not using a 3rd party progarm getting banned because someone mass petitioned you. /scratches head how long have you played L2? how long have you been aware of L2blah? Where's you comments regarding after the ban that include the long difficlult road to communicating with NCSoft regarding your ban - which office are you having to communicate with, the one in Europe or USA? If you have had an account banned you would definetly would be bitching about the communication between NCSoft and you.

Of course character developement is not part of the game. And botting is a lot more exciting then grinding while having pvp and a nice vent group since you're in a good clan with lots of wars.
