Yeah GW really lacks any drama. People got nothing too lose, it's just pvp. Like those x5k Lineage 2 servers - oh well or like a x1 L2 server where everybody just bots.

They soon likely gonna remove player drops to mobs so training is not worth it, too. So where would the drama come from? You can loose XP and it won't hurt - you just bot it back if you can't avoid it by auto using bsoe on 50% hp or force logging when a enemy shows up on radar. Not like you can loose anything if you don't go pk.

Everybody just gonna meet up every 2 weeks to siege or maybe for raid boss events and is levelling afk the rest of the time. Imho it can't get much more boring then that. And I wouldn't pay $15 a month multiple times for just *that*.

But that might just be me.

if you're botting then you're playing a different game than everyone else - you're playing who can cheat the best, not lineage 2.

If you got together with a bunch of buddies to play baseball would you count your own outs as homeruns and count their homeruns as outs? no, because it wouldn't be fun for anyone (well, maybe you could feel uber for a minute) and frankly noone would want to play with you. So you'd be left playing with yourself...just like you are now.

A single good farmer can run 12-15 trains fairly easily, and two trains under 20 are hardly anything at all, considering 1-20 can be done in a couple hours on Walker.

The grinding isn't that bad. I've done 65+ in month before. If you was actually playing the game you might actually know about the grind. You let a program play for you because your mind is too weak to play for yourself.

Everyone I know that has gotten busted has been because someone reported them no petition just instant ban. Obviously they know you are botting, but obviously they arent going to ban everyone who is that would cut into 50% of their profits. You can argue the math but go to any cat or necro and take a look and what do you see? I do believe franz will be a different story but lets face it, give it a year and see where it is with no bots how many people do you think will have anything above C grade gear. Without bots and farmers there is no way to farm for the mats and items you need above c grade if NcSoft really wanted to stop it put in quest that give you real items instead of farming for weeks to turn in quest just to get a single mat that you cant use cause you still need a damn recipe.

I've watched a legit SH reach 75 in 3 months - while lvl'ing slaves.

Just because you cannot do it, does not mean it cannot be done.

Frankly, I find it amusing how people use lack of time as an excuse for botting. There is no unwriten rule that you must be able to play against the biggest power gamers. If people didn't bot, and only played when they could they would still have people to fight against and still be able to enjoy the game - trust me, I know first hand.

Really, if all of these uber botters didn't bot, they could still fight each other - except when they died they'd loose XP and it would mean something. Now, if they die, it means nothing, other than a port to a new lvl'ing location. Frankly, no penalty for PvP death is ghey as hell, and they should play WoW or a shooter, where PvP means nothing other than being able to pound their chest and proclaim how big their EPenis is - but the difference is that in those games everyone has the same playing field, so they could loose, which is why these games don't appeal to these types of people.

Casual play is not an excuse to bot. Being a buthurt looser that's afriad to admit when he gets beat is an excuse to bot. People that bot are just looking for an unfair advantage so they can boost their own ego when they try and kill people who are not playing the same game.

haha...I'm not saying there is a downside. Frankly it's a good deal for you. Like you say, you get 7 toons that stack up your PvP toon with uber buffs. Really all you are doing is putting yourself in a situation that makes your odds of beating people much higher - and beating "legit" people to almost 100%.

I'm not saying that botting makes your ego huge. I'm saying that (generally) people that play botted toons feel super uber when they beat on other people (quite often these people don't utilize 6 botted toons for buffs...lol). When in reality - a guy that bots 6 toons for buffs beating a guy 10 lvl's lower with minimal buffs and lesser gear isn't an accomplishment at all...It's just cheating.

Frankly, I'd be willing to conceed that people that bot know how to cheat better than I do - but I'd say that -0- of them know how to play the game better than I do...and the funny thing is, I will never have to prove it, because no botter would EVER play legit on any level...

Truly though, there is no downside for you. You get to continue to boost your ego by 'pwn'ing' people that aren't cheating - well, unless you get banned...which we all know is pretty damn rare...lol.

In the end it does not matter though. Because I choose to play L2, I choose to play against botters, scammers, ebayers, and power lvl'd toons. I cannot use this as an excuse to loose to any of you, unfortunately, because I choose to fight you. The bitch of the game for me is that loosing to a cheater is still loosing. So, I'll take my lumps, take my victories where I can find them, get people banned for botting (if I bother - and I probably won't), and just play my game. Not because I'm some holier than thou asshole...but because when I win, I want to know that I won, and that I didn't have to cheat to do it...and when I loose, I don't want the additional dissapointment that I could cheat and still loose...lol.

So, for all of you cheaters and botters out there...maybe the downside is this - if you ever loose...and I'm sure you do...then you REALLY suck! lol

legit players with 2 or 3boxed chars are selfsufficient also, and can make more adena since they don't care if their buffers / healers are well equipped or not. So those people make 3 x adena / 3 x more dropchance on fullitem than a legit player who has only one account. <--- legit (remember).

botters are mostly people who HAVE a REAL LIFE. I personally come home from work start my group, start cooking, eat, watch the news, watch my group an hour or so, go to bed, wake up, go to work. Thats life fore a lot of people that aren't schoolkiddies or unemployed bums (no offence here).
Weekend i have other things to do than sitting in front of PC to grind.

Botters are just selfsufficient, they always have a group. In average if i run a train it runs 8 hours tops. Now how many of you people do grind for 12++ hours during daylight / night with clan or whatever. Imo botters don't have more advantage to legit players. Time is still a big factor.

I enjoy watching the game and not grinding it. I love to pvp, thats why i run this game when I want without having a delay on all the other legit players that are 4x atm.


Basicly farmers are left alone since they make the economy.
