No. One of those computeres we built him would go for like 4-5,000 on alienware because of the "cool" case.

I mean, honestly, computer noobs really buy alienwares. Unless you win one in a contest, for $5000 you can build a computer that alienware doesn't even produce yet.

Everyone thinks i have an alienware computer because i have their more generic tower. It appears they just bought a cheapo case and put their logo on it. I belive they called it like the dragon tower or something(i don't see it on their site anymore.)

only reason alienware costs so much is not in the neat case, its in the inside stuff. the cooling system shells out about oh 800 900 bucks, dual video chips alone is a good 2 grand, the monitor is high performance plasma, and a variety of other top of the line inside-goods that make them so freakin expensive. in fact, if you pay a tad extra (a lot less than buying them yourself) alienware will install GAMES for you from a list or if you send it to them. thats the part i like.

ok have you even checked out the shit they put inside of them? they put the cheapest ram you can get inside of em...
