Lol so true.

Good that you're sticking with AMD, I'd help you out but I'm not up to date on computer parts anymore, but AMD 64 4000+ (FX probably too expensive) , an Asus Mobo that supports PCI-Express, at least a gig of ram, an X800XL for vid card, and a WD Caviar 250GB HD with the 16 MB buffer should be nice.

Agh I guess I'll help but only because I like computers. Don't take this as me liking you...because...well you know that won't happen any time soon.

Motherboard:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813127206

Processor:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103547 (If you really want it to be good)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103514 (something more cost efficient)

Memory:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820221133 (You can order 2 for a Maximum of 4 GB)

Graphics Card:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814103169 (don't know if they make it in 128MB. If so get that, the 256 MB is to relieve strain on the memory, but with 1-2GB+ you won't need to worry about it.)

A good Harddrive

And obviously the other basic crap.

With around $1300 you can get all the best of that without hte price of Harddrive, and CD drives factored in. I think for $1700 thats some good basics to go off of.

Item Quantity Price

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 1 $537
ABIT Fatal1ty AN8-SLI 1 $209
Lian Li V1200B 1 $230
Hitachi Deskstar T7K250 250GB 2 $122
ATI Radeon X850XTPE 256mb PCIe 1 $485
OCZ 2GB (2x1gb) DDR-400 1 $274

Total $1,979

Computer I want to get, but kinda br0ke. All from newegg, doesn't have cooling in it yet :o. 'course you can save $230 if you don't need a new case.

WEll if there is a 128 MB of that card, then just get that, I'm telling you 256 is basically worthless if you have over like 1 Gig. And try to get a cheaper Hardrive maybe even cheaper Ram would make it alot cheaper for you.

Ok right now im looking at...
ABIT Fatal1ty AN8-SLI
AMD 64 Bit 4000+
1 Gig Kingston HyperX
(Graphics Card, im unsure of. I had my 9800xt and it had problems, with it being my first ATI card i wasnt 2 happy :/ I might go back 2 nvidia but im unsure I kinda want an ati card due to the speed.)
From there, Im not sure. I might go with a liquid cooling system. But umm not sure on the money issue :/

I know this has nothing to do with computers, but kingston is also a paintball company.
