They are listing to their fan base. They are considering taking down Playplus and are quickyl fixing bugs. Anyone who wants to try Archlord, now would be the time. it is in open beta basicly, go to fileplanet and anyone (even non paying members) can get a beta code. ^^

Well I've registered on Archlord page and activated the account 2 times. One time on that page and once on Codemasters page. Now I should wait for a reply?

LOL since the patch AL has become a worse grind than L2. Imagine how many people would stay in L2 if at lvl 26 hunting same lvl mobs they only got .05% xp per mob. Yep it's another mindless grindfest.

Haha I had to pay to get in the RFO beta (think it was phase 3 beta) but I'm glad I didn't stick around to get shafted. I played for about 3 weeks and I didn't like it. I remember my first day on Lineage2 I was hooked. What can you do though?...from what I understand they just didn't have enough players and probably not worth investing money in. Still sucked though.

Well I checked my email today and got a Archlord beta acceptance email thats about 6 days old and I was suprise because I've never been in a beta besides the RFO beta but thats because I paid in advance for the game to get in beta just to try it out =(

So I thought I actually look for videos, fraps, reviews ect it looks damn sweet so I might try it out for a bit. Orcs!!! they look like the ownage!

Yeah doodz just like it is with L2 with the Quick Heal Pots/Greater Pot ect. Just you don't have to ebay to buy the pots in Archlord mofo.

Cancellation of the PLAYplus Payment System

Codemasters Online Gaming has recently announced that due to
community feedback from within the ArchLord BETA we have made the
decision to cancel the proposed PLAYplus system in favour of a
traditional flat monthly subscription fee.

ArchLord will now launch with a standard monthly subscription of UK
£8.99 / US $14.99 / Europe EUR12.99 (plus applicable taxes). The single
monthly subscription will also include free credits for all players
to redeem against in-game enhancements. So now all players will
receive the same amount of credits each month as part of the single
monthly subscription, providing a level playing field for all
subscribers of the game.

We are also pleased to be able to announce that the race to become
ArchLord will commence shortly with the game shipping to stores on
the 3rd / 6th October in North America and Europe respectively.

As part of the introduction of the standard monthly subscription
Codemasters Online Gaming is currently evaluating a series of other
additional in-game benefits to reward the games early and most loyal
players with more details to follow soon.

We are extremely keen to thank all ArchLord BETA players for their
constructive feedback regarding the PLAYplus system and we are
pleased to be able to take this feedback on board and deliver this

in my opion its a stripped down copy of L2 dispite the ebaying and botting L2 is a much better game

The reson you think this is because you prolly ebay and bot. =p Mabey learn to play without those 2 friends.

the grinding is worse and its almost same as l2... well if its % loss to its gonna be more like a carebear game
