I had the same thing happen the other day.

What I made sure I had done was:

Defrag,Winblows Updates,and do file check of the L2 files...it does not do it all the time but seems to want to do it if it finds it's operating enviroment not exactly as it wants....picky ass game.

I found it helps as well to be sure computer is totally fired up and settled in as far as program start up before firing the L2 exe.

afaik, negative delta time is the end result of a race condition on dual processor ( dual amd or intel ). if it is amd, go to amd's website and download the dual core patch, and update files. that is what fixed that error for me. if intel, i don't know what to suggest.

i have de fraged my PC i have re installed lineage ans still this error keeps comming up !!!! please can someone help me with this issue.

i have started a new chrter on 1 account and seems to be working fine !! so i really cant get my head around why just all my old chrtrs are having this crit error . . . Confused . . . . .

if u know of this problem plz if you could assist me :)

You need to install the AMD dual core optimizer patch found on the AMD website. The negative delta time error is asssociated with AMD dual cores. Basically your cores are getting out of sync with each other and reporting bad information to the game. The game then thinks that its going back in time because of the speed error. Resulting in negative delta time.

The reason it only seems to work sometimes and not others is that it takes a while for the cores to get out of sync with each other enough for lineage to have a problem with it. The error can happen within 10 minutes or 2 hours... it depends.

Patch should fix you up.

i have done what you said and put in the patch , but i dont run from a duel pc. i have just bought a new account and it is letting me in the game for a few minuites and then i get a crit
......... so confused i really dont know what to do . . .

hey there, go to your "systextures" folder and try deleting the file "crest.utx",

it should rebuild itself when you try to load a character in game, and i know that this file is sometimes responsible for independant character crashes
