hey guys, here is the deal:

I知 going to New York next week, and, since hardware prices are way cheaper in USA then in the country were I live and I can buy about 1.5k usd in products without paying import taxes, I知 thinking about purchasing some computer pieces over there.

So, I壇 like to ask if anyone that lives in NYC know any good pc store with low prices. Also, if someone could give me a few websites so I can see how much I値l pay for computer stuff over there, it would help a lot.

Thanks for your help.

Sorry for the lousy English.

If you're looking for deals you need to get out of NYC, trust me. Head over to suburban New Jersey, head south maybe 50 miles or so. The shops in NYC will rip you off as you have to pay ridiculous NYC local tax and the merchants are shady. The often have ridiculous list prices on the goods in their store and are opening to bargaining esp. in Manhattan but also all the boroughs, but you will never come out with nearly as close to a deal you will get either by purchasing online or via going to the burbs and buying there.

Everything is ridiculously priced in NYC, that includes electronics and computer goods.
