it's been getting awesome reviews, though. famitsu gave it a perfect score when it released in japan. even egm gave it nines, and they're a bunch of uptight cunts.

they do, but they're not allowed to sell it, play it, or demo it, or else they get fined big time and they get less copies come next release time :O

I greatly enjoyed FFX, was somewhat let down with FFX-2 .. never played the FFMMO FFXI ..

I lost interest in getting FFIX/X/X-2 because these games were only consoles and never wanted to buy a PS2 since all my friends had one and FF games were originally on PS/PC. i just assumed they would be one and the same, but from what I saw/heard they were good.

FFXI was a very good MMO for the PvE`ers. no PvP what so ever except for this Ballista area (which I heard was dumb, never played that long to see it). game was full of crazy people since EVERY server had amazing connection for people all over the world, so playing with Americans, Euros, Asians was really an interesting thing (communicating wasn't hard either, they had a perfect chat system with mutli-language features). all you did was lvl up, subclass all the classes for fun, do insane Nutorious Monsters (raids to us), and farm things (only you actually farmed, not bot).

I think another Single Player FF at hand is really nice and a good idea. there apparently is a new fighting system with battles so that should be another interesting object as well. this all be amazing until PS3 enters the US and Square-Enix remakes Final Fantasy VII.... holy mother it looks amazing.

FF X was fucking awesome and so is FF XII! Its very fun but they kinda removed the ûber summoners like neo-bahamut :< and they put in some other gay shit, other than that, its awesome!

I hear the difficulty lvl went up by a good amount which is a good thing.... I miss the days where I had to fight a boss like 100 times to learn how he attacked and shit rather then having some huge ass dragon that looks like hes ganna rape me yet it only requires the same cheap tactics over and over to beat (FF8 & FFX)

Lol All of the Final Fantasy's are a challenge if you dont have the stradegy guide, it never requires the same tactic over and over you need to have smarts to figure out what you need to do, i mean you can use the same tactic if thats what your into buts not NEEDED... i always fight the boss once and figure out what he does and then i make a plan at what i am going to do. IF you know what your doin, you'll know what i mean :) :P:dwm_happy :of_happy:

there's a trailer for it and this was a while ago when i read about it. maybe it's changed, don't know, but the demo shown was amazing.

Bull lol..... ive been playin the FF's since like ff3 and some of them are just to easy and its mainly the new ones due to the summon systems.... like ffx? common... once people figured out that if you give yuna more str it transfers over to the aeons so they do like 90x more dmg... my fucking anima was dealing 99,999 dmg way before Jecht.

I'll admit most of the final fantasy games are fairly easy...
but that's why you have challanges and the like.

FFXII is a great game. I've put about 25 hrs into it thus far. It started off really slow, but the story is really getting interesting now. Voice acting is good, music superb aswell (though not as good as previous FF's). I like the new fighting system they put in. Graphically it's easily one of the best, if not the best, looking PS2 game out there. Can't say I'm a big fan of of the License system, but I'm sure it will grow on me.

I'd say if you liked any of the previous FF's, you'll definitely like this one.

O.o OMG IM SO LOST. gonna run by the store today and buy it :O hope its goo,d bene hooked on ff since i tried 7 like way back haha xD i really enjoyed FFX but FFX-2 was abit of a let down, but the combat system they put into ffx-2 made it pretty intresting. if the do a remake of FFVII i would buy ps3 solely because of that remake :O saw the demo a while back and it looks fucking awsome :D

the FFMMO was pretty boring =/ the grind was slow but i agree that the mix of nationality made the game intresting even tho i never got far into the game.

True tho.. FF games are way too easy to clear.. If you want a nearly flawless combat system and a very hard hard rp thet requires lotsa strategy-planing and brains try breath of fire V dragon quarter .. its only for hardcore rpers such as myself :PP
