Just wondering if anyone on 64-bit Windows or a 64-bit cpu in general (with 32-bit OS) is encountering any problems while running L2. I know I am with the negative delta time error. Not sure if its related to the 64-bit or not.

Anyone?

i've got a 64-fx and i get like lag spikes every minute where my entire computer freezes. not sure if you are experiencing the same thing. but i think it's 64bit related.

It happens the same to me in Giran with WinXp Pro 32 bits and 64 bit processor. Anybody running 64 bit processor on 64 bit OS?

I had that where i logged in and couldn't do jack, but saw everything else, I figured it was from my OC, so i took it all down and hadn't had a problem since then, I figured it was my ram weirding out from the settings, check that and see what happens. If not I'd just wait till c4. I got a copy for 64 bit windows but don't want to install it yet, till more software is provided for it :/

Good Luck

Aside from the "security error" or whatever that annoyed me when I loaded L2, L2 ran fine on my Athlon XP w/64-bit WinXP...

However 64 bit win XP is a terrible, terrible operating system.

I'm not running 64 bit windows, but I'm running an AMD 4400+ Athlon X2 64 bit CPU. And it runs like a freakin dream. But everyone time I alt tab to chat on AIM or something. The game will crash, no matter what settings I change, this will still occur.

And this only started happening when I built my brand new PC.

I think my PC is too l33t for this game.

I used to get that in full window on a 32 bit CPU and I know more that had that problem so it's not 64 bits cpu only.....

And to all others that thinks that the game will be better for you to play on 64 bit cpu's in C4... FORGET it since it's the SERVERES and not the client that are beeing shifted over to 64.........

I had the same problems for awhile as well I just tried different mobo/vid card drivers till I got 1 that worked correctly.

Ya I get same problem in giran, where I cant move or anything but its usually only for a few seconds then everything works normally again.

As for crashing when you alt-tab, just wait like 10-15 before popping up the game again cause most likely your comp is still trying to register that it just closed then you click it real fast and it crashes.

I usually play in windowed mode so I rarely get that problem.

Oh ya I have a 3400+ AMD64

I see, then it must be a vid card drive issue for me then.

my amd64 is reliable as hell, only client crashes i have are when i load multiple clients, but once they are all up and running they never crash (or well, a crash is incredibly rare - l2 is far from the most stable of games)

I also have a 64amd. Runs beauitful. When all drivers updated (blah) lol. Nforce 4 for sli ulta, 2x 6800 geforce 4. Gig ram. Runs smooth with 64 bit cpu. I can run 4x l2 cliants (low graphics though :P). And they all ran smoothly without lag. No long lag before switching between each cliant. Iv had zero problems with it and love it to death.

if you're running on 32 bit windows, then your processor is only running with 32 bit instruction, not 64 bit instruction. amd's 64 processors are backward compatible.

had to get that out.
